Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1 cup granulated sugar. 1 large egg. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Assorted food coloring gel. Edible paintbrushes. Edible markers. Edible glitter optional.
Instructions: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. In a separate large bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
