Namine was somewhat of a special patient to Sa’ti -- not that he was allowed to feel that way. She, as of late, had been in and out of medical care for complications due to her heart failure. 

Of course, Sa’ti know that heart failure was a death sentence, however long it might take. He knew better than to get attached, because donor hearts were by far one of the hardest organs to receive, and yet, he felt a strong bond with the girl despite all of that.

Pushing his thoughts aside, he gently placed the bell of the stethoscope to her chest and nodded towards her. 

“Just breathe normal, I’ll be listening to your heart this time.”
