Emmoh Jie is a very peppy, happy go lucky raccoon that loves dirt, worms, her wife, and her friends! She and her wife have been married for 15 years. She is trans and autistic, and to stim she whips around her tail, bounces on her toes, flaps her hands (only when shes REALLY happy), and taps her nails on her screen. She can see and hear just fine, but she is incredibly clumsy when it comes to judging how much room her head has, and regularly bonks it on walls, doorframes, and low ceilings. It usually ends with her falling, and with her head the way it is, it is to heavy for her to get up on her own. She also cannot speak, so she must communicate through sign language, writing on the whiteboard she keeps in ber bag, or through emoticons on her screen. She also cannot eat or drink, so she must get her nutrients and water through an iv. She likes to try and trust most people she meets, and is easily coerced into breaking rules or letting people play video games on her head. She can't put on her gown by herself, and needs help (usually Clao's) to put it on. When she is asleep, her screen shows dead channel colorbars. If she is unconscious, her screen would instead show static. However, if her screen were to go completely dark, it would mean she's dead. She's 35 years old, and has been a patient for 11 years.

Clao Jie-Dai is far more quiet and reserved than her wife. However, she's just as, if not more emotional than her. Clao is a cow, and is the more responsible of the couple. Like her wife, Clao cannot eat or drink, so she has an iv. She also cannot speak, so she communicated through writing on the whiteboard she keeps in her bag, and she is learning sign language. Clao has dermatillomania that focuses mainly on her arms, so they are usually wrapped in bandages. She also has autism, and stims by rocking (when shes very upset), stroking/holding her tail, and tapping her hooves on the ground. She also has chromic pain in her hips and knees, typically walks with a cane or uses her iv stand for support, and sometimes must use a wheelchair to get around. She loves to read, and keeps a whole collection of books under her bed. She also likes to organize things and create lists and schedules, and gets very bent out of shape if she cannot follow the schedules she makes for herself. Her emotions, especially negative ones, can be shown clearly from her cloud. Happiness is a fluffy white cloud, fine/neutral is a flat, whispy white cloud, crying is rain, gloomy is a dark grey cloud, and anger is a dark grey to black cloud with varying amounts of lightning. Because her cloud rains when she 'cries', the floor around her can get very wet, making it easy for her to slip and fall, esprcially since she has hooves instead of paws. The lightning of her anger has been known to occasionally zap anyone around her. While it hasn't killed anyone yet, it has left many injuries, some very severe. It breaks her heart every time she hurts someone with her condition. She is 37 years old, and has been a patient for 11 years.

Emmoh and Clao both have a relatively new disease called So No Head?. It causes those afflicted with it to have their heads slowly morph into some sort of object, typically an electronic item or some sort of round object (i.e. crystal ball, lightbulb, berry). Whatever their head is turned into is scaled to their body, so that nothing is out of proportion. This condition is, at the moment, completely irreversible and incredibly contagious. The doctors at Sparklecare have managed to stop the contagious portion of the disease in Clao and Emmoh (if only for their own safety), and like to experiment and run tests on them.
