Channels prepared and all three layers cut. I am using duck canvas, the cotton canvas gold and a layer of Kona cotton for lining. I don't like the texture the duck and worry that even with a smock it would feel scratchy to more sensitive areas. I'm not as excited to do the channels today as there will be no back-stitching to avoid bulk on the outside. Each one will be secured on the inside by tying knots. Pair of bodies pattern prepared. I lifted the rise over the hip by .25" as it pushed into them a bit mire than I wanted. I also widened the center by an inch to better compliment the width of my hips. Finally I measured all the bone channels so I can order precut bones. #wip #ancientundies #sewing #patterndrafting #corset #pairofbodies

Whipped up a pair of bodies last night! (=17th century bra, if you're confused.) pink satin with a white border 👙 mulling this over as the undergarment for the dress whose fabrics I posted last night - that was the plan, but I'm not sure whether I want a more conventional boob shape.
