Making Pajeon

I never knew how easy it is to make pajeon, savory Korean pancakes, until I visited my buddy Foodvana’s house and his Korean mother-in-law whipped us up a batch. She let me take pics, so here's a step-by-step  visual recipe for you.

You start with kimchi, in this case, fresh kimchi which she made herself…

Chop it up to the size of your liking…

Add flour…

Add an egg…

Add water and mix it all up…

Heat up a frying pan and dole out pancake-size scoops…

And a few minutes later…

Pillowy pancakes of pickled perfection are ready to eat!
