Beautiful Pakistan
✈
the one place I most want to go
There are Muslim Pakistanis who are very content with who they are. Be proud of what you are. Or be what you're proud of. There are two paths. Just pick one you'll be happier.
Ppl dun have a lot of good things to say about Pakistanis or Muslims but you are right I gotta be awesome and give them things to talk about.

Basically Pakistan is better than India.
I have never heard anyone say that before. Usually I hear people talk about Pakistan as if it is a petulant child who needs to come home to India. Uh that is my impression not trying to start shit between India and Pakistan. I love both. Tho I would love to talk to someone else about Pakistan, I have such little pride about it compared to India.
I really wanted to write a legitimate modern tragedy — I wanted to write a play that would affect an audience so deeply they would then walk away being forced to ask all kinds of questions the play could not answer for them.

OK, everyone needs to check out Khaos Komix and Discord Comics. They are both by the same author. Khaos Komix is about LGBTQ issues (and that means ALL the letters), deals with abuse, has PoC, the works.
Discord Comics is still in progress and is my baby. Well. The current main character is my doing. He is Pakistani? and I was a consultant for him. The author was using Zayn Malik as a resource, and some of you may hate me for this, but I steered him away from that. See, I thought it was important to represent darker South Asians. As much as everyone loves Zayn. So he used my skin color and my nose (I emphasized not shying away from stronger features either) as a reference. The rest of the things I told him? Ha, we will see if they show up. The big deal besides appearance was showing Pakistani people as just normal PEOPLE.
Oh, and it references BDSM culture and agender people. I am not Muslim so I could not act as a reference for that? But I threw out my opinion that there should be portrayal of queer Muslim people. It looks like that is going to happen.
