hi im Soul! Im a they/them asexual in my 20s who's been a digital animal and environment artist since 2011!

I've stopped doing commissions to focus on personal art and my career as a game developer & designer, but I'm currently doing limited sketch commissions for charity

I'd like to make a webcomic one day! I've tried some in the past but never got far, and now I'm gradually making progress to lining up a timeline properly.

Some color sketches I made as a personal creature design challenge, I've been having fun making these unnacurate and featherly representations of dinos on my spare time. My goal was to make em as visually striking as a could without losing the base design in the process. From top to bottom they are: Carnotaurus, Qutzacoatlus, Spinosaurus Mirabilis, Yi Qi, Dilophosaurus and Ankylosaurus

Protect Dinosaur Valley — Put Guardrails on Massive Data Centers in Texas

Dinosaur Valley State Park in Texas is one of the few places where you can walk the same path as the prehistoric animals did millions of years before you. The tracks there, thought to belong to Acrocanthosaurus and Sauroposeidon, have survived the test of time for 113 million years. Anyone is able to visit this trail, and walk alongside the ancient footprints, forever cast in the now dried mud. However, the park and its surrounding wildlife may be threatened by a large AI data center planned to be built near the park. The byproducts of AI facilities poisons the air, uses up the water, drives up electricity, and negatively impacts the animals, plants, and people living nearby. The area is even home to the endangered Golden-cheeked warbler. Even more unfortunately, the request to postpone the operation has been denied by Texas courthouses. Please sign the linked petition above to help push back against the construction of this data center.

discord's new terms of service DO have a mandatory arbitration clause for the United States and Canada, you have 30 days to opt out by emailing an opt out notice to [email protected]. this has been your standard "for the love of god do not waive your right to a jury trial under any circumstances" notice

Here is a quick link to the new (Sept 29, 2025) arbitration clause and informal dispute resolution info. When they originally began implementing in 2018 Discord clarified your opt-out email doesn't need to follow any kind of template, but there are several options in the notes of this post. One thing I haven't seen anyone add is to make sure you're emailing from the email linked to your discord account. If you've already agreed to the terms of service you can still do this, and you've already opted out you probably should do it again just to err on the side of caution.

Discord forcing users to upload IDs and then having their service provider for this get hacked and leaking those IDs is incredible, they should be sued into the ground for this

By the way, because they know they can get sued from stuff like this, they're making it so that you can't sue them. Make sure to opt out of forced arbitration with Discord so that you can sue them:

people might think creating OC lore involves a lot of thinking & planning, but in my personal experience, OC development is more like a divine vision from a god slamming you over the head with a mallet while ur doing the fuckin dishes or folding laundry
