These crunchy and tasty gluten-free cheese crackers are a great choice for a Paleo snack. These are a great and healthier alternative to crackers for anyone on a restricted diet, as they are made with almond flour and paleo-friendly cheese.
Ingredients: 1 cup almond flour. 1 cup shredded paleo-friendly cheese e.g., dairy-free or grass-fed cheese. 1/2 tsp garlic powder. 1/2 tsp onion powder. 1/4 tsp sea salt. 1/4 tsp black pepper. 1 large egg. 1 tbsp olive oil. Optional: fresh herbs e.g., rosemary or thyme for garnish.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, shredded cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, sea salt, and black pepper. Add the egg and olive oil to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms. Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll it out to about 1/8-inch thickness. Using a sharp knife or cookie cutters, cut the dough into desired cracker shapes. Transfer the cut crackers to the prepared baking sheet. If desired, sprinkle some fresh herbs on top for extra flavor. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crackers are golden brown and crisp. Remove from the oven and let them cool on a wire rack before enjoying.
