My swatches are an infinite source of amusement for me...perhaps mirth is a better word. I have these little white boxes all over our house with future memories painted inside just waiting to be laid out with perfect seats to our life. It’s so hopeful and exciting seeing those colors come alive and bring light and joy to our home. The reimagining of what this can be, watching it transform so beautifully knowing that I did it myself...I simultaneously feel like a little girl who wakes up to Christmas every day, yet also this big adulty person who gets to have something they’ve dreamed about their whole life. What was once a daydream, or a distraction to take me away from my life, has now become this space that I move around in. Well, it’s just an honor to be this lucky. I am honored to be this home’s next story.
