Library Card trend with Canary’s Cry characters!!
Guys...
It might be because it's late at night and I don't realise the absurdity of what I'm saying, but what do you think about this HG ships?
Brutus x Palladium Barker (seeing this one as more platonic but I can see them flirting)
Enobaria x Gloss
Carat x Janus
Brandy x Coral
Madge x Delly
Leevy(Very minor D12 character) x Gale
Finnick x Johanna (Jofinn nation I want to hear it from you!)
Persephone x Festus
Lysistrata x Clemensia
Reblog or write in the comments or send them in my ask box your most unhinged hg ships, I wanna hear them!!!
I do wish we had seen a bit more explanation in SROTR about the career system and how various districts reached the conclusion that training the kids was the right call.
Because I don't think it is nearly as formalized as fanon or narrator Haymitch believes (especially in the 50th). Everyone except Twelve has at least one victor by the 50th, and Wiress being sent to mentor Twelve's kids implies a third victor from Three that we never meet. That is not the career pattern that Katniss describes where careers win as often as they don't, and outlier wins are a result of career overconfidence and loss of food supply.
Thoughts are not well formulated here, but my thesis is that it's a mistake to create a monolith surrounding a career district's victors and how they train. Brutus, Lyme, and Enobaria are three victors from Two, three different eras, and three different experiences with the Capitol.
The same system that created Palladium Barker is likely similar to, but not identical to, the one that created Cashmere and Gloss.
District One's Iconic Trio
feet are hard so I refused :)
One of my personal headcanons regarding District 1, is that their citizens are incredibly knowledgeable about chemistry. While I don't believe there is any textual evidence for this in the series, many of the 'luxury goods' made in District 1 would require chemical engineering.
sotr and doubles but does no one remember that Beetee and Ampert aren’t the only related victor tribute duo? There’s Panache who’s implied to be the son (or at the very least the relative) of Palladium
wait imagine palladium barker's reaction to cashmere and gloss winning the games consecutively while he couldn't mentor panache to win.
I have been seeing a lot of talk recently about if there was a sixth book what would it be about, and i think i have nailed it down to a few options that I think would be likely.
We know it will be pre 74th games because they end after the 75th and we have seen both of them. we also know that there are no more tributes from district 12. and we know that we have seen the 10th, the 50th, the 74th and the 75th games.
That leaves 71 possible games. but i think we will probably not be seeing the nine before Lucy Gray’s game because that’s when the games became a commodity.
Now we have 62 games left. i think we can assume it will be someone we know of or something we have heard of. That leaves us with about 19 games total, plus two games I think are interesting enough that despite not knowing the names of the victors could be interesting. so 21 options.
of thoes 21 options, i don’t think we will actually see 2 of them because they were created by the movies. (porter millicent tripp and augustus braun) so back down to 19 again.
Now I don’t think we will see some of them for obvious reasons. we won’t see Mags because her game is so close to Lucy Gray’s and there is very little to add to what we already know with her. I don’t think we know enough about Woof, Palladium, Lyme, or Blight. I also don’t see her using a district 1 or 2 victor unless there is a specific reason (and I have two of thoes I will mention) just because her ideas seem to be focused on the more poorer districts (but I could be wrong) so I will also not be counting Brutus or Enobaria. this brings us down to 12 specific games I think we might see.
