OC-tober Day 23: Pallav the flock’s Chief!
Pallav is a pretty stand-up guy and is a fairly active chief in his moderately large flock. Many would argue he’s a little too active, volunteering to help out with even the most minor of tasks, anything from sweeping out nests or tending to the community egg nest. He doesn’t like to sit on his tail feathers if it means helping his flock.
Asamani really looks up to Pallav, and the difference between how he leads and Vishal leads is one of the many reasons Asamani hates the human palace. Besides the obvious “trapped and far from his family and friends” of course. Pallav is physically active while Vishal (and all humans it seems, to Asamani) just orders others to do what must be done while sitting around doing nothing. And if there’s anything Asamani learns to hate about being captured by humans, it’s being made to sit around doing nothing but “look pretty”.
(Asamani admits to the pretty part, but hates the doing nothing bit)
Pallav is currently training his eldest daughter in the ways of being a chief so she can succeed him one day.
We will be meeting her tomorrow.
Pallav wings would be based on the Indian Barn Owl mainly because I found out there are Barn Owls in India and I was going to go with another owl but let’s be real Labyrinth lives in our minds rent free so I couldn’t say no.

Can you guess today’s?
