I can't stop thinking about this ending bro 😭 poor girl got punched one tok many times and fucking explodes . But also like imagine what her sisters thought during that . Like sure in the story the 3 of them have a vague rivalry but they still care about each other . Watching someone who you've known since their birth die with no way to stop it , that must be horrible . Especially since Choco drizzle definitely seems defensive some way over her sisters so that just rubs salt in the already gaping wound . I love this game but Jesus fucking Christ things can get depressing . Who knew I'd be crying over a game about cookies 😭😭
I have a theory about this funky cyber friendo, AKA I woke up at 3:30am with a revelation about Cyborg's past.
So in a final story for Cyborg Menace we find this panel:
"You're crumbling!"
That pretty obviously sounds like Ale is talking about a cookie, not a robot. Plus, Cyborg mentions feeling disgust at the metal plating on their body. They're not used to it. Not to mention Aloe calls Cyborg a friend, but also talks about building Cyborg recently, and definitely doesn't mention bonding time.
When Gingerbrave and Aloe confront Cyborg on destroying the lab, Cyborg tells them this is revenge for "what Aloe did", which is implied to be just building Cyborg, but back to the crumbling part and the implication that Cyborg is not only a dough cookie but they're also dying. Which leads onto this:
"... died." Or crumbled, whatever.
Afterward, Aloe finally fixes the memory chip, which again, leads to the first panel I mentioned.
"Just come back." Aloe knows Cyborg, as in pre-robot Cyborg. Their memories are damaged but Cyborg still realises that this isn't their original body.
So.
Here's what I figure, and the hints:
Cyborg used to be Palm Cookie.
And I get this from two things: Aloe's Journal and Cyborg's design.
On Aloe's journal there are two things of note: A sticker and a scuffed picture.
A palm tree, and Aloe with another clearly green-haired cookie.
And then there's Cyborg themself, whose hair is kind of reminiscent of a palm tree with fronds and a fringe that kind of looks like coconuts under the leaves.
So my theory is that Cyborg used to be Palm Cookie, or Coconut Cookie or whatever (leaning towards Palm bc of the picture though) until something happened to them, which led to Aloe having to build them a new body. The missing memories Aloe is stressed about are Palm's memories. Cyborg hates their metal body because they're used to being a cookie, not a robot.
Idk how to end this so uh:
TLDR: Cyborg Cookie used to be Palm Cookie, some accident happened and Palm died, Aloe rebuilt them as Cyborg to preserve Palm's body.
