Knight with the Lion, and The Questing Beast

I love writing. I love sharing my writing with everyone. And shockingly, I write and develop and create universes that are entirely separate from King Arthur.

And not so shockingly, I write a lot of King Arthur. I pour my heart out into stuff y’all may never get the chance to read. I write late into the night. I come up with new families, new quests, new ways to play old stories.

Like The Lady of Shalott. Her name is Elaine. Elaine of Astolat. For me, after her stint in the tower, she decides she hates her name and hates her family for putting her in that tower, goes to the person who saved her, and asks to be adopted. She chooses her middle name. She becomes Gabrielle Du Lac, Galahad’s little sister and Lancelot’s squire and adopted child.

Or Palomedes, who in the legends spends his life chasing after Isolde. I decided, no, fuck you, if anyone deserves that level of devotion and love, it’s Tristan. Let’s put those two together, let them help each other.

I have a million little personal canons, often shared with @gwyndulac, both in my head for Arthurian things, and for my own personal stories. And I’m so glad I found a place that lets me share them.

I want other people to add on their own personal canons at the bottom! How do you change your Arthurian universe to fit what you want from the stories?

Hello again, I’m back (more or less). Hectic month with much stuff happening, so I won’t say anything about my schedule for further chapters, but I’ll give it my best to answer questions with greater frequency than in October.

Our Police Officer, Dawid Bashir. Also with long hair, and also with multi-colored hair, like Din.

Palomedes worked in the Force even before he awoke, and was used to dealing with Agravain since even longer, but his lucky streak and consequent promotion had only happened due to gaining back his lost memories. He has a room key to Agravain’s apartment for emergencies, and tries to mitigate the damage the detective causes whenever he arrives at a scene, with more or less success.
