It is sad beyond belief that I need to say it but I must say it. I don't like palov/osh.(pronounced like pal+ov from oval/ osh is the same as in Smosh). It is our national food and I would love to love it if I could.
It is texture thing. It is mainly rice and so has been small texture. Which I can't help but dislike.
I feel like a transfem that doesn't like Blåhaj or an American that hates burgers. But palov is my country's The Food and not just popularized here. We even have saying that says: "If it's your last money eat osh, if it's your last day eat osh" meaning no matter the circumstances you need to eat palov even if you are broke or dying. Well, after explaining it sounds weird but anyways.
I still can eat it. It's just not my favourite. Maybe not even on top 3 or 5.
But you gotta try it some day. If we ever meet with any of you I will make it for you. It is really tasty food.
