On Sunday we met with students in our Peace Ambassador Leadership Program and we are always so impressed with them. The time has (maybe)(probably)(most likely) come for us to take our annual Peace Ambassador Leadership Summit (PALS) on the road! PALS has been a life changing experience for so many students in South Florida. It's not every day that students get to talk about bullying, suicide, self esteem, leadership, LGBTQ rights, women's rights, college prep and to develop life skills. We have always dreamed of expanding to another campus and it seems like fate that one of our original students is now a sophomore there, and a former advisor to our founder is now a professor at UCF as well. We will never leave our FIU family - so count on us coming back in July, as always. However, June might be a great month to host a PALS at #UCF. Cast your votes below. Art Therapy at PALS is not about working alone, keeping things bottled upside, and taking it home with you. In fact, we couldn't be more against that. As our students experienced, PALS is about so much more than any one person acting as a single entity. We share. We grow. We ask for help, and we allow someone take some of the pressure off of us.
