Raise your spirit of an independent travel, because the perfect time has finally arrived.
It was the other day that I was having conversation with my friend from Malaysia. She told me; within these three months – June, July and August – she will be going to three different countries – Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam. And I went; “Whao… you travel a lot…”. And she went; “I work hard so I deserve it then…”. Then I said; “Yeah, make sense to me…”
It was couple nites ago my friend came here, she was discussing with me about how to travel across the Java Island – in the backpackers way. Then I suggested her some of the best spots in Java to be visited, I sketched her a very simple map where are these spots are located. And I said to her, “Before you take your leave, just go the book store and find the lonely planet book for Indonesia, so you know where you are and what to do…”
It was only last nite, my friend made a call, she just came back from Bali for training and vacation at the same time. She told me a lot of things happened in Bali, from wearing a new Speedo that she bought before she took her leave to Bali to hooked up with the boy from Switzerland that she met in cocktails party.
Everybody is going to some fucking destinations these days…
For some reasons I could explain, June, July and August are the best time to travel for us I reckon, thus no wonder why many people are going for travel.
The weather, fine weather…
Even tough the weather’ been atrocious these days, but please be grateful for the great weather the Lord has been giving us. We are now in the dry season, the season of fine weather.
Traveling is about moving, luckily the fine weather will allow us to move toward here there and everywhere conveniently – plane, bus, car, shuttle, bike, motorbike, pedicab, foot and so many on. Wherever on earth your destination is, and doesn't matter what your transportation is, HOP ON!!!
Fortunately, these days, rain won’t be an obstacle for your travel – but this is not totally true, for 3 seasons country like Thailand, the rainy season falls between June to September, but don’t worry about that, Thailand is a whole year destination.
Another great things what I like are…
In the daytime, the sky is always blue – it’s quite rare to find nowadays actually. I tell you couple things; the blue sky is always stunning in the picture and everything seems better with a blue sky as a background - I’m a photographer what can I say…
And after the sundown, fine weather means clear sky, means the stars are bright beautify the clear–dark–black sky. You don’t have to do anything about this, just look at it and be grateful for what you’re looking at...
If someone gives me the option of seeing sunrise in the top of the mountain or enjoying sunset in the beach, I rather choose both of sunrise or sunset, because it is another wonderful thing within this season. Imagine magenta–yellow–red–orange–purple sunrise or golden–yellow–orange–red sunset, and you’ll get it. Surely, it is the remarkable one.
Travel is great… everyone knows that… everyone wants to do that… everyone says that traveling is his or her hobby.
Whether you’re bare–footing it on a budget or a five–star insider, plan your travel as you always wanted to – in the passionate spirit of an independent traveler, which is, travel with respect, sensitivity, curiosity and liberal sense of humor, because some says, it is one of life’ most satisfying pleasure, yet the best thing I think…
Fine weather means everything for traveling.
I’m arsed about it going nowhere and standing still… That’s just shite. Plan a break, courage the heat, make pace for miles, see what you want to see, taste what you like to taste, feel what you want to experience, and go get discovering your destination to the maximum until you realize that you may have get lost – hahahaha, I like this sentence…
One more thing; for us who live our life as a muslim, Ramadhan is coming nearer, perhaps by 1st of September. And within Ramadhan the holy month, I think it’s not appropriate for us to travel, except, for Umroh and very first Formula 1 nite race in Singapore... hehehe : ).

PS; for a reason I can’t explain I do hate the word “traveling” actually... Little fuckers!!!
