Well babe, i LITERALLY adore Eminem!!!

I watched last year i believe and yesterday, so this ask came in a great time lol 🥰

I really liked the cast (Sebastian Stan and Lily James were amazing), and I think it did a great job portraying Pamela's feelings and showing the emotional impact everything had on her. Mainly because she's a woman and Tommy would never go through any of that. 🫩

Buuuut I do feel like the narrative leans more toward the perspective of the man who stole the tape. (Like we should feel pity for him) Tommy is somewhat portrayed as more of a "villain" at times (and I'm not trying to defend him, I do think he was an asshole in many ways). And it's obvious that he's always hearing her, but he never listened to her.

What bothers me a bit, though, is that Pamela never gave her consent for the miniseries to be made. She talked about that in her documentary and said that no one ever reached out to ask for her permission. And Dylan said that the series constantly tries to justify the tape thief's actions.

I did love it, but I have mixed feelings about it because of the ethical issues of its production.
