During last week's camping trip, we noticed the trees canvassing the mountain and campgrounds were covered in these creepy web formations. Our first thought – given the way 2020 has panned out – was SPIDERS. Not gonna lie - that almost sent us back down the mountain. Lol. We were told they are tent caterpillars, but once we were back online and able to do a google search, it didn't make sense - tent caterpillars do their thing in the early spring. Now, we're not totally sure, but we’re pretty sure these are a moth called Fall Webworms. Mother nature sure is interesting! Should we go back and tell the townspeople they got it wrong? * * * #campingnoire #caterpillars #moths #tentcamping #pamountains #blackgirlscamp #gooutside #representationmatters #blackwomencamp #campingwhileblack #optoutside #pocoutdoors #thegreatoutdoors #blackcampers #blackcampersofinstagram #pocinnature #camping #livewild #blackinthewoods #naturelover #tent #mountains #mountainlife #camping #campingtrip #campingadventures #natureismytherapy #blackwomeninnature #outsidemagazine #samsung (at Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania) https://www.instagram.com/p/CEx2_pHjPr2/?igshid=1hjc00l0ashvb
