Famous Pansexuals

I’ve seen various posts akin to this before, but I can’t recall one specific to pansexual/panromantics yet, and I love us, so I wanted to make one!

1) Brendon Urie

God he makes me so proud to be pan

2) Mary Gonzalez

The first openly pansexual US legislator!!! How cool is that?? She’s working to help people leave behind their prejudices towards LGBT+ people, and makes me feel optimistic about the future

3) Janelle Monae

I somehow didn’t know this until doing my research for this post and oh my gosh I am happy about this but not surprised. Badass musicians be Being Pansexual, huh?

4) Roes

Roes is a rapper who formerly went by the stage name “Angel Haze,” but recently changed it; so if you’re confused, you may be more familiar with that old alias. I apologize for the annoying watermark, but this picture was too badass to not use. (Xer pronouns are xe/xer, be respectful!)

5) Asia Kate Dillon

Asia is best known for their role on Orange is the New Black. They also happen to be pansexual! (And nonbinary. They only use they/them pronouns, be respectful!)

6) Jazz Jennings (questioning)

Jazz Jennings says she doesn’t know for sure, but believes that pansexual is the label that fits her. I debated whether I should include her for that reason, but decided that I should! Whether that stays the same or not, we still love her!

7) Gloom (Kassie/Kassima Isabelle)

Not the most famous YouTuber, but I love her and think her coming out video says a lot of important things about gatekeepers and about being a non-straight person is a heterosexual relationship. And I relate so much to her description of pansexuality (seriously, watch the video)! She’s also hilarious, hard-working, very sweet, and just another person who I am super flattered to have something in common with!

Bonus: Fictional characters!

1) Deadpool

Is it a surprise that perhaps the most famous chaotic neutral and sarcastic fictional character is pan? If you’ve ever met a pansexual in your life, probably not! Anyways, this is a canon fact and that makes me happy like every single day

2) Mae Borowski

Mae from the game Night in the Woods is canonically pansexual, which was confirmed by the creators of the game, according to her wiki! She’s another character that doesn’t surprise me (though that COULD have something to do with me projecting onto characters I adore...but who can say?)

There’s nothing wrong with being pansexual and there’s nothing wrong with being bisexual, and no matter the similarities or differences that may or may not be between them, both identities are valid and deserve love, respect, and representation.
