I feel like some LGBTQ+ people need to hear that it isn’t their fault if their loved ones don’t accept them.
And it isn’t. No matter what the reason is, what they say to you, any circumstances at all- it isn’t your fault. It isn’t ever your fault.
If they love you, than they should accept you- Even when it’s confusing or hard for them, they should always support you. That’s on them, not you.
I’m really sorry if you’re going through this right now. I truly hope that they come around, and soon. But in the mean time, please remember to never blame yourself.
drinks tons of water today and remember that I believe in you!
It doesn’t actually matter how naturally or not something comes to you. It doesn’t make you any more or less talented, or any more or less hard working, whether you can do something easily on your own, or you have to take a lot of classes to learn it!
Some of the best in their fields got there through years of arduous studying and practice. And some didn’t ever take a single class. Either way is fine!
There’s no reason that needing practice puts you beneath anyone, it’s actually very natural and makes a lot of sense! Please don’t limit yourself just because you aren’t learning as quickly as someone else. It doesn’t matter and doesn’t determine your worth.
If you’ve been beating yourself up over weight gain during the pandemic, please, please try not to.
You’re surviving a worldwide collective trauma right now. You’re going through life-changing events. I promise you that a weight gain is nothing to be concerned about. Nothing is normal right now, there will be changes and I promise it’s okay if some of those are to your body. And you really don’t need any added stress at a time like this; it won’t do you any good.
We’re all in the same boat. I promise you that everyone gets it if you gain a little weight. It’s okay.
Joy and self-indulgence does not have a cut-off age btw
I am incredibly proud of every recovering addict who got through New Years without relapsing.
And to those of you who did relapse- I still love, support, and believe in you. Recovery isn’t linear; relapse is not the beginning of the end.
