I don't know where he learned to dance. I'm not sure anyone in our district knew how to dance like he did. When he moved it was fluid like an ocean wave.
"I'll teach you," he said one night.
I blushed. I didn't know he saw me watching him. "I don't know how," I said.
He laughed. "That's why I'll teach you."
"I don't think I can."
He took my hand and pulled me forward. "It's okay. I got you. Just follow my lead."
And we danced all night until the morning sun rose.
