Hi there! I am working on your Entrails pattern for a friend and I wondered if you had any advice about doing the half stitches in the 'halo' around the raven. I've never really done anything with this complex a pattern of half stitches like this, so I thought I'd see if you have any advice before I just jump right in! Other than those, this is a super fun pattern and I'm loving it so much—I'm using The Gentle Arts' 'Raven' floss for the raven and it is looking so cool.

Hey! I’m actually stitching Entrails myself! I don’t really have any advice other than to just jump in and go with you heart. The little ‘starbursts’ they make are extremely satisfying, I do have to say.  I looked up that floss and *chefs kiss*. That is going to look lovely.

fancy - dumbest thing i ever did? WHICH TO CHOOSE ok well i just got home from work and my coworker always drinks cucumber water so i put some onions in water and drank that as like. a power move. but it was just Spicy lmao it was so bad

dorothea - biggest accomplishment? honestly not that big and v cheesy but getting into university was really big for me especially since it was so hard to do the auditions and i had shitty grades lol

Thursday- what makes me angry:

The thing that really gets on my nerves is when people complain 'bout completely irrelevant matters and keep looking for troubles that aren't even there. You know, complaining for its own sake- I will never understand it.

Sam- favourite place you've travelled to:

Maybe it's cliché but I'd definitely say London! I've only been there once but I fell in love with the city and its omnipresent feeling of being welcome. As an architecture enthusiast I can say that one trip did its job and I can't wait to revisit that place and take in the sights of this amazing city❤️

Fancy: This one is hard because I am both gleefully reckless sometimes and also have a terrible memory...but I think I'll go with dating someone I didn't really like. It was super dumb because I was mostly doing it for them, which meant neglecting my own wishes! I'm glad for the lesson, but it was definitely dumb. I'm happy now, though. :]

Jakes: I'd go to a small town in Italy. Somewhere with a river. If I could just run from everything, I'd get a dog and draw, write, and read all day. I'd write letters to my family and attach pictures of myself taken with a polaroid, little doodles, and pressed flowers. I'd drink coffee in the morning and tea at night and sunbathe aaaaall day. Or I'd go to New York and get a tiny apartment in a neighborhood with plenty of mom'n'pop shops, get a cat, go to local concerts every night and spend a little too much money supporting drag queens.

Joan: I want to be a tattoo artist in New York - probably something very far away and overly romantic. I mean, my dreams include being a professional artist and moving to one of the most popular cities to move to for dreamers like me. Somehow I feel like it'll all work out though, even if it's not exactly what I think it'll be.

win - what’s the most important thing in a relationship?

Step One: Communication. Step Two: Abandonment of Pride.

So many things are solved when everyone is on the same page about communication. Everyone says this probably? But it’s really true. Not only does it help alleviate tons of worries and fears, but it also means there is ALWAYS someone to talk to whom you can trust. If you can’t trust your partner with everything/anything, why spend all your time on them?

Also stubbornness and pride is really fucking stupid and abandoning it (for the most part) on the home front is the first step to not being stubborn as fuck outside of home. Do you know how many arguments are had because two people just can’t back down on some DUMB ASS thing? It takes one second to think ‘is this worth the energy i’m putting into it?’ and ‘why do i care so intensely about being ‘right’ about this dumb ass thing?’. You will learn very quickly what things you can change and what things you can’t about yourself. But again.. this is something BOTH people need to do. Don’t be a doormat. Just be reasonable. All of sudden so many things people get worked up about - at home and at work and with friends - seem really fucking dumb to be upset about. 

Also admit when you realize you are wrong, only give heartfelt apologies, and accept that people CAN and WILL change over time.
