I celebrated the ‘officially one year of Covid in the Netherlands’ day (unofficially I’m pretty sure it was already around) with a covid test. My first! I’m lucky that it’s fairly well possible to isolate in my life, so while it’s been murder on my mental health, I haven’t really needed a test before. I might well not have needed one now, but I guess I’ll see that within the next 48 hours.

I’m spending way too much money on craft materials and I will Regret This. Unwise decisions are being made. By me. While fully aware of it.

But damn it I’m holding my mental stability together with bookcloth and washi tape, I need pretty papers to paste over the cracks

I'm on a kick watching videos of various subject matter experts reviewing movies, and the algorithm suggested one of an epidemiologist talking about pandemic movies. Published in November 2019. You know I had to watch it...

Scene 1: Yeah, when you're in the middle of an outbreak, you do not greet people by shaking hands.

Scene 2: Our hero is wearing a full suit with a breather in the isolation ward, and the doctor's only wearing a mask and eye protection. The nurse behind him doesn't even have eye protection! That's so unrealistic, that would never happen!
