OK, WHO WANTS TO WRITE THE THRIFT SHOP POLKA??? Ever since the prime of Lawrence Welk's reign over the American airwaves, and assisted by generations of Frankie Yankovich loving Polka fans the accordion is the ugly instrument that just won't go away. It's heavy, it's loud, it's complicated but somehow...it's also very cool. It just is. So, if you are ready to take the plunge into town troubadour territory our Babcock Blvd. location just received this very lovely vintage Panesi Italian 41 key model, available immediately for only $99.99. Prices on these can easily exceed $500-$700 but this big fella needs a little TLC. The bellows is intact but it appears a few keys need adjustment and the liner re-adhered to the inside of the body in a few spots. HOWEVER, there are shops like Liberty Bellows in Philadelphia that specialize in repairing open reed instruments and can have you tootin' away like a pro in no time. Just curious? Head on over and check it out, we have lots of new merchandise to see and you can take a look at the big red squeezebox while you are at it!
