After my daily Duolingo practice, I thought of this song!
Va Va Va!
Though I’m not as devoted as I used to be to Panic! In The Disco as I was back in the mid-2000′s, I’ve noticed I seem to have a soft spot for bands whose names start with the word “panic”. Or so it seems, thanks to local heroes Panic Is Perfect, the San Francisco indie band who jolted us with a whole lot of excitement when they made their fabulous debut with Go Go Go three years ago (where did time go?)! In a dog eat dog music world, fine indie bands come and go quickly, appearing with much striking aplomb then quietly disappearing into the good night. Panic Is Perfect has proven their staying power with infectious songs like You’re Alive and more, and now they’ve dropped another solid jam in Radio Song, a power pop tinged, whistle-laden indie pop and indie rock amalgam with slivers of Weezer meets Death Cab charm. Radio Song’s live music video is also an affable delight. It gives us an insider’s look at how Radio Song was put together in the studio. Panic Is Perfect says of Radio Song: “It tells the story of a guy who relies on songs playing on the radio to convey his feelings to someone he loves.” Listen to more Panic Is Perfect on Soundcloud, here. Keep up with the SF band via their website, here.
