17) Talk about your first pride!
- So, my wife and I got interviewed about some anti-queer bullshit in our state, like how you can be denied housing for being queer. Then, we marched in the parade. After that, we were waiting to get into the Pride event where they have merch, music, food, etc. And there were these homophobic Bible thumpers behind the fence preaching garbage. So, I started yelling witty comments at them, and apparently people thought they were good enough to quote in tweets on Twitter lmao. Eventually, we got into the event, bought some stuff, had people taking pictures of the poster I made (which had 28 painted hearts with different pride flags in them under a rainbow umbrella), etc. Then we went home lol. It wasn’t as eventful as my second Pride, but it was still good.
