I mean you've missed the SSHRC grant, but you can still apply for that second year i believe? theres also grants you can get throughout the year if i'm not wrong

I’m not necessarily sure that the SSHRC grant applies because not all of the programs I’d apply to are research-oriented. I know some of the schools in Central Canada are past their funding deadlines for the programs I’m interested in this upcoming year (though two of my school choices are still taking apps until May and June respectively).

I guess I’m wondering if it’s a bad choice to take 2019 to sort my life out and kind of source up my resources or whether I should just jump right in and go for it since I’ve already delayed it this long

hey vin! I don't know what your accommodations are like or what you're able to do atm but I thought I'd let you know about this website (cookingonabootstrap) that has like super cheap filling recipes that I believe make more than one serving! It's run by a woman who was cooking off of like 10$ a week or something? SO yeah I thought if you wanted to make big meals with your roommates for cheap that might help! I also have some family recipes for hearty arab food, if you want that too :* :*

i think you can apply? i believe you have to take summer classes to be in residence during the summer, but often times theres a lot of kids looking for roommates around that time as well? this is from someone who has never lived in res but has a lot of friends who did btw.

okok yes that makes sense. thank you and yeah at my school you can get housing during the breaks but you have to pay but i dont want to look like a fucking lonely loser.... fml
