All good things have to come to an end & so it is with our stay at Tariri Amazon Lodge. We said our goodbyes - Gella & Miri to the monkeys while I stood to the side holding my hands over my earrings - & we even got a pic with grandpa ( aka jungle boy) & to the rest of our friends ( almost family by now ) who were staying at the lodge & then hopped in the boat ( with all our luggage - see pic) to continue on the rest of our journey to ….. The Pantanel. So we basically had a traveling day. first by boat, then car then plane with a stopover that we didn’t have to get off the plane for & finally we arrived in Cuiba where we met a driver to do more traveling 2 ½ hrs till we finally arrived at Araras lodge. We were quite tired from traveling all day so we had supper ( yummy turkey salad wraps ) next to a French Jewish family ( Gella figured that one out) & now we are winding down for the night since we gotta be up early tom for our 7:30 tour !!!
