a curled up Panurgus having a nap on the favorite spot of every Panurgus, a flower far too small for it. unusually for these incredibly oblivious bees, i actually momentarily woke this one up. however it decided that whatever i was was not more important than sleep, and simply buzzed halfheartedly in displeasure as i walked away

crab spiders are capable of some very impressive catches, but even a bee as small and inactive as Panurgus looks far too large to be easily preyed on by this tiny immature male Thomisus onustus, especially given male spiders' reputation as complete wimps
