WIP Wednesday
Almost forgot today was Wednesday. Was definitely a Wacky Wednesday. I haven't been writing much these past few days, but this is what I can offer. This scene happens to Quatre and Duo at the nurses station, after Duo finds out the hard way that Quatre, who he just met, is allergic to peanut butter. This is from Chapter 13 of PAP (I would have posted my work from Chapter 14, but there is literally only one small paragraph lol). As per usual, good luck, this has not been edited, revised, proof read or beta'd. You have been warned ;)

What are you doing?” We heard an angry voice from the doorway, which had as both jumping in surprise.
“He's allergic to peanut butter.” I stated dumbly, as if the view before her should have given her enough details to figure it out.
“We don't serve peanut butter here because of allergies.” She said, of course piecing together the part that I didn't want her to. “Which means you two were in the kitchen.” She rose her nose at us in disdain. “You will both see punishment for this.” She only then spotted the epipen in my hand loosely. “And Father Maxwell can find out a way to replace that!” Her voice began to shudder with anger. “Both of you, get out of here now before I beat you.”
I quickly helped pull Quatre to his feet, and we both rushed past the nun. We headed towards Quatre’s room in silence.
“Here,” He said, handing me the sandwiches we had left on his bed. “I do not think I should hang onto them.” He continued with a light chuckle.
I nodded mutely, and turned to leave, unsure of what else to do. I felt shaken by the entire scenario.
“Excuse me, Duo.” Quatre called lightly, as I began stepping out of his bedroom. I turned my head slightly, scared to lay eyes on his still swollen face, “Thank you. You saved my life.” He said honestly.
I let the door close behind me, without responding. How could I say anything? I wouldn't have had to save his life, if I hadn't almost taken it in the first place
