So I went to momocon a few days ago and I got to meet Bryce Papenbrook (Eren's voice actor).
While I was waiting in line, these two girls noticed me drawing. I was drawing because I didn't have the money to buy a poster or something for him to sign, and I had already drawn two inked pictures before this one because I wasn't sure if they were the ones I wanted him to sign.
They really liked the picture and it's always nice to see people who like my stuff, so I gave them the inked pictures in my sketchbook. They seemed really happy that I was giving them a few of my pictures, and that was worth it to me.
I was in line and worried that he might not like it or might not be impressed, debating with myself on whether or not I should have inked it. I mean, hey, plenty of other artists probably came up to him asking him to sign their work, and who knows if he was impressed by any of them. Now, I'm not one to get butterflies, but I felt them coming on really fast. I never get nervous. Never.
It was my turn to get his autograph, and I asked him to sign my drawing.
He paused for a moment to look at it-
"Whoah!"
Wait WHAT?!
"You drew this? This is awesome!"
I ended up explaining that I gave my other two pictures away that I was demoing out for him to sign, so I had to draw another one while I was in line.
"Wait, so you drew this while you were waiting in line?!"
