Hi! So you know that story I've been working on for over a year? Yeah it's done. I've got the first few chapters already posted and I wanted to add some context.

When I write I like to know what the space my characters are in look like. It helps me keep things straight. To do so, I make these like, blueprints? I do it for combats, houses, stores, etc.

for the WIP meme -- Quiet, and Beyond?

And I apparently have not used ‘beyond’ yet, but here’s a snippet from ch7 for your troubles:

"Mollymauk." Molly jolted out of his musings when he heard his name. Caleb was smiling at him, it was a small, shy smile, but a smile none-the-less and Molly returned it without hesitation. 

"Yes dear?"

Caleb huffed in amusement, "were you listening to me, Mollymauk? You seem detracted." 

"Sorry, I am a bit distracted." He did hesitate a moment this time before continuing, but he decided to take the leap. "Has anyone ever told you you're cute when you get excited?"

Hi, this is Pinkevilbob from Ao3. So my theory is that it's a kelpie, the mythical water horse that drowns people not the dog breed. They trick people into ride them, trapping them, and then drown them. ...I don't know why a horse would want to drown people, but that's mythology for you.

Isnhsisjxjsi you are SO close.

Kelpie was my original plan for this but after research into several water creatures I actually chose something that would fit a modern setting better.

It IS a water monster that drowns their victims.
