Day 27 of #30daysofbiblelettering by @stefankunz and @andrearhowey is Isaiah 40:31. I ran out of ink...again! I saw a post saying you can create your own ink cage using super glue and a spring from a pen so I'm going to try that. If you're not into trying a diy spring cage, you can buy one from @paperandinkarts. In the meantime, try re-dipping often. If I can tell I'm about to run out of ink, I try to slow down to give the ink some time to flow out. Gotta remember to dip frequently to prevent running out of ink! I probably should've noticed after the g that I was running low. Has anyone used a nib with an ink cage from @paperandinkarts? In Which I Empty My Wallet On Supplies

After several days of research(and by research I mean googling something and somehow ending up spending hours watching unrelated cat videos) and agonising over what to get, I finally took the plunge and made my order with Paper & Ink Arts.

The main thing that I wanted to get this time around was the FineTec gold palette. I decided to throw in the set of 12 pearl colours by FineTec while I was at it because ooh, shiny. It's kind of a lot but I'm rationalising it by saying that my love of shiny things knows no bounds, so I'm certain that all 18 colours will be put to good use.

I also got the Hourglass Adjustable Oblique because the plastic Speedball oblique just isn't cutting it anymore. I am ridiculously excited about this. I must've added and removed every oblique holder that PIA carries to and from my cart because I wasn't sure whether I should get the Hourglass since it's on backorder. Eventually I emailed the guy to ask when it'll be back in stock and he said that it usually takes less than two weeks for it to arrive and that they can hold the rest of my order in the meantime, so that settled it. I can be patient.

Everything combined with international shipping really added up and now my heart hurts thinking about it. Well, no, not really, because yay, stuff! Will update this space when everything arrives. I've already got a list for my next order...
