MarkerPop! Challenge #84: Anything Goes!
Hi Crafters!! It’s time for our next Challenge, and the theme is Anything Goes!
THE CHALLENGE: Anything Goes!
Create a project using your Copics or any of the markers that we carry!
You may play along with other challenges, but excessive challenge pile-ons (more than 10) will result in disqualification for our amazing prize. As always, have fun creating!
For the prize, we’ll do the same thing we did last time: a Mystery Box filled with crafting goodies!
One entry will be chosen at random to receive our prize. Three additional entries will be chosen for the ‘Top 3′ based on their amazing coloring skills. The prize winner and top three can all proudly post their brag buttons on their blogs for the world to see!
Entries are due by Sunday, December 27, 2015 at noon CST. Winner will have TWO weeks to claim their prize.
**International winners will be responsible for shipping costs if they choose to claim their prize**

Hi Crafters, Valerie here today!
For the Challenge, I created a set of cards with varying sentiments, using Paper Smooches, Distress Inks, & Pretty Pink Posh, and a cool process I learned from Jennifer McGuire!
I’m using these Paper Smooches products: Natural Beauties stamp set (for the birds and the branch), all the sentiments came from the Word Salad stamp set, and the Fancy Frames Icon die set.
For the patterned background, I saw a cool idea from Jennifer McGuire on one of her videos (called Coloring with Bleach), and I HAD to try it. It involves distress inks, heat embossing, and BLEACH! Here is her video:
So for the blue card above, I used Mermaid Lagoon. On the yellow card below, I used Mustard Seed.
This next card is using Abandoned Coral. The stitched curved die cut on all the cards’ distress-colored papers are from the arched die in the Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Borders 1 die set.
This next card uses Wilted Violet. The clear drop bling are Pretty Pink Posh’s 4mm & 6mm Droplets.
And the last card has Carved Pumpkin on it. The birds and the branch were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press It Paper, and colored with Copics:
Blue Bird: B00, B01, B04 / YR07
Red Bird: R17, R24, R27, R29 / YR07
For the sky behind the birds, I masked them and the branch off with Mask-It Tack Film, and then rubbed Squeezed Lemonade and Tumbled Glass distress inks on with my Mini Ink Blenders.
It is definitely a fun process, and I know I will use it again!
Thanks for stopping by, and have a great week!
