Let’s normalize recyclable toys! Recently I’ve had the privilege to do a little after-hours work for a toy company called Playper. They are doing some great things in the toy industry! They’re designing NON-PLASTIC recyclable playsets and toys for the toddler – tween age range. These are NOT your average cardboard cutouts! - these are sturdy, durable, cardboard toys printed in high quality and are highly durable. The graphic designs and play patterns are exquisitely designed. My part has been very small (I helped with instructions in a minor role), but I highly recommend you look into them.

New papertoy is an potato-obsessed wizard Petrosilius Zwackelmann as played by August Diehl in “Der Räuber Hotzenplotz” 2022 film. I’ve enjoyed this role of his too much to pass on the figure – it’s insanely entertaining and this evil wizard manages to be touching in his struggle with peeling of potatoes.

The figure turned out very cute and also boasts a completely new experimental feature – optional changeable faceplates.

Paper Doctor’s companions by daguchna

Nearly ten years ago I made some Doctor Who Christmas papertoys: Shalka!Doctor, 10thDoctor and 6thDoctor. Few years later I decided to make some companions for them, but was always forgetting to take a photo of final result... So here they are: Donna Noble as seen in The Fires of Pompeii and Peri Brown. Not as good as The Doctors were, but I still like them.
