so about third trimester abortions

this is actually super obvious, but its still like... distressingly mind blowing. 

apparently, shockingly, absolutely no one decides they just don’t want the baby after putting 6 months of work into it. It is not a thing that happens. The laws policing late term abortions -except when the fetus isn’t viable and/or the mother is going to die- are entirely redundant, that is the only reason a person gets this procedure. ‘people just changing their mind and choosing to “kill” their almost-a-baby’ is entirely made up. and it dominates the public consciousness

Am I the only maladaptive daydreamer/neuro-narrator who feels a little awkward when being asked about their universes? Like, when I’m in the mood I’ll go on and on about my paras and their lives. But when other people ask me questions about them or when it comes up in conversation, I just sorta freeze...

Tariq narrowed his eyes in focus, scouring his options on the laminated menu. It was a bit hard to read, given the dingy light above them produced a massive glare over the glossy text. Christmas songs faintly played in the background; they always seemed to put him in a good mood. Humming softly to himself, his eyes landed on the list of pancakes they offered. “Pancakes, was it?” Tariq questioned, more to break the ice than to double-check with his female acquaintance. His eyes flickered up to glance at her before peering down at the menu. “What about their hot chocolate? I think I’ll get that, too.” He placed his menu down on the table, propping his elbows on the table and shifting his attention to Juliet as he awaited her response.
