Black as Midnight, Black as Pitch || Derek&Klaus
Waiting, he'd been waiting for this. He'd met Klaus only a few days ago, and yet it seemed like they'd known each other years. Forever. It wasn't long since he'd taunted a broken pile of bones and flesh on the floor and that same mess had bitten him in the neck and drained him.
Fucking Vampire. It was his first thought, even after the man turned into a wolf. Fucking vampire! It was a big problem, for both of them, the fact Klaus was part vampire was like a thorn in his foot, one he wanted to pull out, desperately, but he was growing used to that little twitch of pain it caused.
Days had passed, they had met twice now, and he had found himself in some sort of... well.... he wasn't sure what it was, what to call it. They hadn't discussed it... Hell, they didn't really discuss anything. But Derek had marked him. He'd claimed him and now he was desperate to see the Hybrid again. To try and figure out whatever this unspoken bond of theirs is, because since he let the halfbreed leave, he's felt uncomfortable, like wearing a tshirt made of velcro, it chafed, it felt sore, it just didn't feel right!
Twigs and leaves crunched under foot as he made his way back to the woods, where they met, where they... he could smell that man, that wolf. It was like he could sense him, under his skin, burning. It was a good burn, but still, he missed the halfbreed, after just a few days.. he missed him.
Walking over where they... their scent, so strong. Sweat still seemed to of sank into dirt and grass, and it just reminded him of how close they'd been. Why he felt this way, strong, hungry, happy... That mark, he had to wonder how prominent it was, how visible. He loved that thought, the thought of everyone knowing, Klaus was his!
Inhaling that scent, musky, hot, he grinned, and followed his nose. It lead him to a house, a big house, and it seemed empty, but he could smell... the halfbreed. A grin swept across his face, a flutter in his chest, emotion, it felt like.... but it couldn't be.. he promised himself, not again. Never again. It just lead to hurt! And Derek had already had enough hurt in his life, he didn't need anymore. Already broken, crumbled, after years of...
A snap! The Alpha's eyes shot to the left, to tree's behind the mansion and he saw people, his brow arched. Did Klaus have company? Was this a bad time, but then he heard noises, yelling, and caught sight of black eyes, soulless creatures... Demons. FUCKING CROATS!
