Changing from his dirty clothes into something he found in his hospital locker, today had been a real test to his limits and well it turned out that he had crossed them and maybe he needed further help, just maybe. As he rested his head in his hands, rubbing his weary eyes he felt his phone buzz against his leg a little. Lifting out he couldn't help but smile when he heard the message from Meredith. While on scene Mark had received a message from Derek telling him the news that he and Meredith had their little baby girls. And just like that Mark had forgotten about what happened out there and was keen to go up and see his nieces. He couldn't stop smiling as he thought about being an uncle again, and the fact Derek and Meredith both referred to him like that when he wasn't truly blood related.
As he lifted his jacket, he stopped by the hospital gift shop, although he knew that Meredith would know they were from here, he felt he could not show up empty handed. Grabbing two pink teddy bears with the word 'girl' written over their soft tummies, he bought them along with some flowers, which Mark was impressed at the standard, they looked healthy which shocked him for this time usually they were trying to get rid of all the dead ones. He left the shop and headed to the maternity ward, he couldn't help but smile even more they more he thought about the Shepherds, they were happiness personified, something Mark hoped one day to achieve. He left the lift and went to reception, asking for Meredith Grey. Although he soon spotted her through the small little glass window box on the door. Walking over he softly patted his knuckles on the wood while opening the door. "Knock knock, I hear there are a few more Shepherds now in the world?"
Kim had woken up earlier than the day before - it seemed that sleep was too much to ask for. Not because Adam was waking her up and keeping her awake, no, as a matter of fact, he slept more than she did. She was growing more and more nervous about the trial, the nightmares of that night replaying in her mind like a tape she could not stop. Kim glanced sideways, made sure she didn't startle Noah when she shot out of bed, before she slowly moved up, and headed to the bathroom to take a shower, attempt to clear her mind, and fail miserably.
Kim sighed as she dressed up and grabbed the baby monitor, heading downstairs. It was barely even five am - great. Kim sighed as she glanced around, before her eyes drifted to the downstairs guest room. She pursed her lips and walked into the guestroom, leaving the door half open in case someone woke up. She set the baby monitor on the nightstand and took a deep breath. Wyatt told her it was better that she practiced her testimony, so she doesn't choke when she's in the court room. Kim pursed her lips, whilst she didn't want to have a panic attack in front of him, she didn't want to even think about it either.
But she had to. She wanted him behind bars, she wanted him punished for what he did to her, she wanted to protect other women like her from his brutality. Kim took a deep breath as she stopped pacing around the room, "I was leaving my uncle's wedding because I had a late shift at work. I parked my car in the employee space when he came to me, saying that a friend of his passed out, and that he needed a doctor. I told him to get help, and he showed me where his friend was. When I walked.." Kim stopped, because she could feel her heart hammering against her rib cage, and she swallowed thickly, "When I walked into the alley, I realized what was happened..I tried to.." Kim didn't realize that she was crying until she felt the tears roll down against her neck, "Damn it." She cursed angrily under her breath and quickly wiped away the tears, starting to pace around the room again, taking deep, even breaths to calm herself down. This was going to be harder than she expected.
Home Sweet Home :: Kim, Meredith, & Derek (ft. Adam)
It was the day that she'd finally get discharged, and Kim was busy packing up - mostly packing up Adam's stuff really, some of her clothes were still in the wardrobe. She was more concerned with what to have Adam wear. Would it be too cold outside? Would it rain? She didn't know. She had her uncle get extras from the house but now she was just confused. Meredith was supposed to meet her in the room with the car seat, since Kim was not allowed to carry anything heavier than Adam. She laid down the baby on the bed, changed his diaper and made sure to get him in a onesie and a coverall. "It's gonna really, really cold outside, baby." She told him as she picked out a good jacket-coverall to keep him warm, then picked him up to slowly fit him into it. "But Mommy's making sure you stay warm so." She mumbled as she laid him back on the bed to zip up the jacket and she smiled down at him broadly, "You're so handsome." Kim laughed as she tucked the socks onto his little feet, then adjusted the little cap on top of his head. "You're the most beautiful baby in the world, aren't you?" Kim poked his nose and laughed when he smiled and stretched a little. She glanced around, before she reached for the pacifier from the nightstand to uncap and place it gently into his mouth, before she picked him up again and glanced around the room, sighing. All of his things were packed, her bag, however - was still incomplete.
What? -- Meredith and Alice talk and kiss and such and decide to go on an official date.
Meredith: had spent the day just lounging around the house. She worked on some of her college applications but other than that, just laid in bed and watched some television. When Alice texted her, a smile flitted across her face. She couldn't explain the butterflies she got out around the other girl. She told her to just come in and not bother knocking. She was over so much anyway. Meredith was in bed with a bag of cheese puffs and a coke when she heard the door open. "I'm in here, beautiful." She called out.
Alice: Alice flopped back on her bed, phone still in hand. Alice didnt know what it was about the other girl that made Alice feel so weak in the knees. It wasnt just how gorgeous meredith was, or how funny and easy going the girl was. It wasnt even the sex. But Alice didnt know what it was. It just -- was. And Alice grabbed her bag that carried her essentials for staying overnight somewhere: clothes, toothbrush, hair brush, make up, pajamas, ect. Alice gave her mother a hug and kiss good bye and after te famous broadway star lectured Alice about driving safe and staying safe and staying away from alcohol, the young girl was finally able to leave the house and make her way to the Baizen's household. The brunette was so used to driving there and being there that it was almost a second home to her. So, walking in the house was no big deal for her. She walked in and made her way to the blonde girls room. Following her voice. Alice walked in and smiled. "Hi." She said, smiling. Again, she was weak in the knees and her stomach did flip flops.
Meredith: Meredith looked up from where she was watching 'Big Brother' and grinned. She didn't know how to explain the butterflys that seemed to fill her stomach when she saw Alice. Meredith didn't do relationships or couples. She only had casual sex but she almost thought she had a small crush on Alice. She shook her head, trying to rid herself of those thoughts. She set the bag of chips on the floor next to the bed and patted the spot next to her. "Come here."
Alice: It seemed that a smile never left Alice's face when she was around meredith. Was it possible that Alice might like Meredith? Sure, the thought had crossed Alice's mind before, but she knew that liking the girl would be a bad idea. Relationships always ended badly and made messes out of things that were clean. Alice set down her bag, slipping off her shoes before walking over to the bed. "Gladly." She said as she climbed on the bed next to meredith.
Meredith: Meredith scooted over, her tank top riding up her stomach as she moved over. She grinned as she felt the bed shift and the heat of a body next to her. "I'm glad you came over." She told the girl honestly as she turned and connected their lips in a soft kiss.
Alice: Alice smiled, staring into the blondes eyes. "I'm glad I did, too." Alice whispered. Her heart was beating so fast in her cheat, she was afraid meredith could hear. It wasnt exactly a nervous thing, Alice didnt get
Alice: nervous. But it was something else that made Alice's whole body basically go numb around the other girl. It was like nothing else mattered. Alice leaned in and met Meredith's lips. Her hand traveled up to the girls neck as she deepened the kiss to a more passionate kiss.
Meredith: Meredith smiled into the kiss. She scooted closer and wrapped an arm around her waist. "Mm," She ran her tongue over the girls bottom lip, teasingly. She pulled back and dropped her forehead to Alice's. "Hello to you too." She giggled softly, running a finger down her cheek gently.
Alice: Alice wrapped both of her arms around Meredith's neck. She loved kissing meredith more than anybody she's ever kissed before. Being with her and next to her was so intoxicating and Alice loved it. When the older girl pulled away and pressed their foreheads together Alice couldn't help but let a giant smile take over her space. "Hello, gorgeous." Alice replied pecking the other girls lips gently before sliding her hands down her back.
Meredith: When Meredith wasn't around Alice, she almost felt empty so being near her made her feel good. She shivered underneath the girls touch. "I missed you." She whispered, dropping her head to Alice's shoulder, pressed a soft kiss to the curve of her neck.
Alice: Alice tilted her head to the side, allowing Meredith to kiss her neck. "I missed you more.." It had only been not even 12 hours since the girls had last seen each other, yet being away from Meredith made Alice feel lost. But that feeling was no longer there, Alice felt found. She smiled softly. "I really really missed you..." The younger girl said, letting her hand drop down to Meredith's thigh.
Meredith: giggled softly, as she moved closer to the girl. "I don't even know why you leave anymore." She told Alice honestly. "You're here more than you are away." She reached up and pushed some hair out of the girlls face. "No way. I definitely missed you more." She leaned closer and pressed a soft kiss to her lips.
Alice: "I should probably just stay here... I wouldn't mind it at all..." Alice paused. "Plus I want I spend as much time with you before you leave me." There was a flicker of sadness that crossed Alice's face, but it vanished as quickly is it appeared. Alice didnt like to think about meredith moving away for college come next year. She would miss her more than anything. If she couldn't be away from the girl for less than a day, how would she handle 4 or more years? Or worse... The rest of her life? Alice tried to push the thoughts away. "I don't think so." She whispered as their lips collided into another soft kiss.
Meredith: "I like the idea of that." Meredith saw a flicker of sadness which made her stomach twinge. She hated knowing that she put that on Alice's face. She couldn't compramise her dreams of getting out New York though. Especially for someone else. She still hadn't told Alice that one of the schools she is looking into is in a whole other country. "Please do. I like waking up next to you every day." She said honestly. She smiled into the kiss, deepening it slightly as she placed a hand on the girls waist..
Alice: Alice giggled slightly. "That does sound like a great idea, doesn't it?" She felt meredith smile into the kiss and she couldn't help but smile as well. Part of Alice felt a bit guilty. After all, she had cheated on her last girlfriend with this girl. But then again, the only reason Alice did it was because deep down, she had always liked meredith. Even being a child and playing over at the Baizen's with casper and Ben, Alice remembered liking meredith. "I think I may just stay here for a while." Alice said between the kisses. The kiss was deepening and Alice's whole body tingled at the other girls touch, just how it always did. Alice liked being with meredith, she didnt even want to sleep with or see anybody else, not that the two were dating, Alice just didnt need anybody else.
Meredith: Meredith grinned into the kiss. She pulled back only to comment on that. "The bed is big enough for two." She winked, teasing the other girl. Meredith pressed her lips at the girls jaw, moving down to her neck, sucking softly at her pulse point.
Alice: A small gasp escaped Alice's lips as the other girl kissed down her neck. Alice tilted her head to the side and closed her eyes slightly. She gently ran her hand over Meredith's upper thigh. The two were so good together, it was amazing that they weren't dating. But Alice didnt want to ruin what they had with a stupid relationship, even if she thought about how nice it would be to call meredith her girl.
Meredith: Meredith smiled when she heard the gasp. She loved knowing that she could make Alice make those noises. The two girls fit like a puzzle piece. Maybe it was because they were so much alike. Who knows? Meredith didn't like relationships though. She didn't like putting herself up there for the hurt. She was leaving in a couple months anyway. She pulled away, smirking. "I may have left a mark...or two...or four." She giggled. "Oopsy."
Alice: Alice moaned slightly at the small pleasure meredith was giving her. She didnt want to ever leave Meredith's side. She didnt want to even leave this bed with her. All Alice wanted to do was stay cooped up in the room with her. Was that too much to ask? Of course it was. Alice smirked and shrugged her shoulders slightly. "Oh well." She mumbled with a wink. Alice leaned forward and collided their lips once again as she slide her hand up Meredith's shirt and over her flat stomach.
Meredith: Meredith was glad that there wasn't any school tomorrow. That meant that she could stay in bed with Alice all day and not have a care in the world. She shivered as she felt Alice's hand slide over her stomach. Her stomach was a sore spot because she thought of the abortion and baby she could have had if she had kept it when she thought of her stomach. Her somach clenched underneath Alice's hand as her lips moved against the girls.
Alice: It hasn't even occurred to Alice that there wasnt any school tomorrow until someone earlier had mentioned it online. That meant the two girls could stay up as late as they wanted and lay in bed with each other all day. What a great way to spend Labor Day. Alice's hands tugged up Meredith's shirt a little bit of ways, wanting their pieces of clothing to start falling off. Alice loved doing this with meredith. But it was no longer just physical. It felt like there was something more. Something bigger behind the kisses and the sex and the cuddling. Something Alice couldn't quite wrap her mind around.
Meredith: Meredith reached down and pulled her tanktop off, barely breaking the kiss. She was left in a light pink bra and a pair of white boy shorts. She let her hands fall to Alice's hips. "You are wearing WAY too many clothes." She smirked, tugging at the bottom of the giirls shirt.
Alice: Alice bit down on her bottom lip as her eyes scanned Meredith's familiar body. "I am." Alice admitted. Here she was, fully clothed and meredith was half naked, not that Alice minded the second part. The brunette lifted her tank top slowly over her head and let it fall to the floor. Now all she sat in was her lacy black bra and her jean shorts. But it was only fair for those to come off as well. Alice unzipped her pants and kicked them off, revealing her matching lacy thong. Alice smirked leaning back in for another kiss.
Meredith: Meredith smiled as she watched Alice undress. She knew her eyes were becoming black with lust as they moved over Alice's familar body. "Mm, Gorgeous." She grinned. She leaned closer and kissed her back before manuvering them so that Alice was laying on her back on the bed and Meredith was hovering over her.
Alice: Alice looked up at meredith who was now on top of her. Alice reached up and ran her hand along the girl's face. She smiled. "You're so beautiful." She whispered. The way Meredith's blonde hair fell around her face, it made Alice's heart skip a beat. She couldn't believe she was lucky enough to spend as much time as she did with this girl.
Meredith: Meredith let her hands still against the girls hips. She heard her words and sighed gently. She didn't always believe she was beautiful but hearing it come from Alice made her heart flutter. She leaned down and kissed the girl softly. This kiss wasn't full of lust or sexual tension. This was a kiss that was love and passion.
Alice: There was something about this kiss that felt different for Alice. It made her heart jump and her stomach clench. But Alice's mind was blank. She didnt know what was so different. But she liked it. Alice wrapped her arms around the girls waist as they kissed. A kiss that was so deep and amazing Alice could have sworn she saw fireworks like in the movies.
Meredith: Meredith placed her hands on either side of Alice's head and ran her tongue across her bottom lip. She felt their mouths open together, their tongues battling for dominance. She pulled away and pressed a kiss to the girls jaw, lovingly. She didn't say a word because she was afraid of what she would say subconsciously without thinking. She let her eyes meet Alices and has scared as she was, she knew that her eyes were showing that she liked the girl as more than just a friend.
Alice: Alice don't know what to say, she didnt want to say anything. Because every time Alice opened her mouth, something came out that she would later regret. The kiss was perfect, the way they moved, not missing a beat, perfectly in rhythm, in synch. Alice stared into Meredith's eyes. Alice's big, bright, blue eyes widened slightly. She slowly reached up, running the back of her hand over Meredith's cheek. "You're amazing..." She whispered, leaning up and giving Meredith a soft, quick kiss before laying her head back down.
Meredith: Meredith shivered slightly as she felt Alice carress her cheek. "Alice," She whispered, brokenly, her voice cracking. Meredith didn't do feelings and relationships. She did hookups and drunken parties and clubs. Meredith smiled softly into the kiss as she looked down at the girl. "You're the amazin one."
Alice: Alice shook her was slightly. What was going on in her head right now. This wasnt like Alice. Well, it was, but it wasnt supposed to be. Deep down, Alice cared , she cared about everything and everyone, but she didnt want to. From what she had seen with her mom, being nice or you no where, neither did caring. But Alice couldn't help but care about meredith. She cared about her so much, all of Alice's self promises flew out the window when it came to the beautiful blonde. "No, mere... You are. You are so amazing.. And perfect and I just.." Alice trailed off, not wanting to even think about ending that sentence.
Meredith: Meredith felt the tears come to her eyes when she heard Alice's words. "I'm not perfect, Alice." She whispered. She was far from perfect. She was too much like her mother was as a teenager to be perfect. She shook her head, her hair falling in her eyes as she looked down and away from the other girl.
Alice: Alice's mouth fell open slightly. Meredith looked on the verge of crying. Alice hated to see her like that. The brunette sat up, allowing meredith to be sitting on her lap still. "Baby... What's wrong..." Alice said lightly. "Dont cry. Look at me." Alice gently tuned Meredith's head back towards Alice. Alice tries to meet The other girls gaze. "Look at me... You're perfect in my eyes." Alice admitted.
Meredith: sat up so she was sitting in Alice's lap. She leaned against the girls chest as she took deep breaths. "I just..." She trailed off, her eyes meeting Alice's. "But I'm not." She mumbled. "I am..I drink and I party and I...I don't know who the father of that baby could have been which makes me a slut and why would you ever want a slut?" She asked quietly, tears running down her cheeks.
Alice: Alice smiled softly, running a Han through Meredith's blonde locks. "You aren't a slut, Meredith... You're just young. We all make mistakes. We all do things we regret. Most teenagers drink and party and do drugs and get into fights and trouble." Alice sighed slightly. "If anyone's a slut it's me. I mean, I don't even know how many people I've slept with. And I drink and party all the time. Hell, I even got alcohol poisoning.." Alice trailed off, caressing Meredith's face in her hands. She wiped the tears from her face and leaned in to kiss the sad girl. "I don't care what you've done or what you do. I don't care about your mistakes. None of that matters to me.. I just like you..." It took everything in Alice not to say the big "L" word.
Meredith: Meredith listened to what Alice was telling her. She felt the butterflies fill her stomach as she knew what Alice was saying. She leaned into her hands and sighed gently. She smiled against their lips. "You..You like me?" She bit her lip as she looked at the girl shyly.
Alice: Alice smiled softly. "Yes... I do..." The girl admitted bashfully. "I really do..." Alice looked down at her hands and grabbed Meredith's hands in her own before lookin up and smiling at Meredith
Meredith: looked down as Alice interteined their hands together. "I like...you too." She whispered, her breath catching in her throat. She couldn't believe that she had actually admitted that outloud.
Alice: Alice looked back at their hands. She couldn't help but smile at Meredith's confession. It made her feel happy inside. Happier than she's been in a while. Alice felt like she could be herself around meredith. The brunette squeezed the blondes hands slightly. "I'm really glad ..." Alice said in a hushed voice, barely audible.
Meredith: felt this feeling in her stomach that she couldn't explain. It was a lightness and happiness that she hadn't felt in a long time.. She looked up and smiled at the other girl softly. "Me too." She whispered, her breath caught in her throat.
Alice: could cry, that was how happy she was in that moment. She let her eyes say the words she couldn't bring herself to say. How amazing Meredith was and how happy she made Alice. But most importantly how Alice felt that she couldn't live without Meredith by her side. As much as Alice thought those thoughts, she couldn't bring herself to say them. Sure, they were just words, but the words held so much meaning and Alice was afraid- afraid of what Meredith's reaction would be. Alice feared few things in life. But love, relationships and rejection were the big ones that left her at a vulnerable state. Alice let go of Meredith's hands and brought them to the girl's face. She cupped the other girls face and brought her lips to Meredith's in a passionate kiss. One filled with so much emotion that it made Alice's heart beat a mile a minute.
Meredith: 's mind was racing a mile a minuet. She didn't know what to think. She knew she liked Alice as more than a friend but this was scary. She had never been in an actual relationship before. She only ever did casual sex and the like. She fllirted and made out and all the other stuff. She never could say she had a boyfriend or girlfriend. Meredith smiled as she kissed the other girl back. Her arms subconsciously went to wrap around Alice''s neck as she deepened the kiss.
Alice: Part of Alice didn't even care to label their relationship, what they were. Alice didn't mind just being with Meredith, like how they were at that moment. Cuddling and making out and having sex all the time. he only thing that frightened Alice was the possibility of Meredith sleeping with someone else. Just thinking about it made Alice feel jealous. But the young girl had no right to be jealous, they weren't dating, but Alice couldn't help it. With the kiss deepening, Alice leaned back on the bed, allowing Meredith to be on top of her again. Meredith's lips were so familiar and made her feel something she had never felt before, something she couldn't explain. And Alice liked it.
Meredith: moved them so that Alice was back to laying down on her back. When her lips were on Alice's, she felt whole and complete. She didn't feel whole and complete when she was kissing other people. She swallowed roughly as she pulled back from the kiss. She was straddling Alice's hips as she looked down at the girl. "What does this mean then? If we both like each other as more than friends."
Alice: Alice looked up at Meredith, her normal bright blue eyes now confused and frightened. What did it mean? Alice gulped. "What.. what do you want it to mean, Meredith?" Alice asked. The subject of relationships and feelings and emotions always made Alice uneasy. She grew nervous. Alice couldn't help but how much of a bad person she would seem after breaking up with Hannah for "not being good in relationships" and then turning around and getting into another. But there was just something so different about Meredith. It felt more than just sex and making out, it was more than that. Meredith was like a best friend and a lover rolled into one, the perfect girl for Alice. But Alice didn't know what to do, especially when it came time for Meredith to leave for college.
Meredith: chuckled softly. "I..." She bit her lip as she tried to reign in her thoughts. "I want to see where this could lead but I can't just jump into a relationship." Meredith explained softly. "But I do want to see where this could lead so...maybe, we could go on a date?"
Alice: Alice brought a hand up and pushed a strand of hair out of Meredith's face, tucking it behind the other girls ear. A small smile spread across Alice's lips. "A date.." Alice never really went on dates. This would be a bit new to her, but then again, so was all of these emotions. "That sounds wonderful.." Alice said in a soft tone before leaning up and trapping Meredith's lips in another kiss. Alice rested her hands on Meredith's bare back.
Meredith: Meredith leaned into Alice's hand, sighing gently. "Okay." She said softly, feeling like a huge weight was lifted. "You didn't reject me. That's good." She chuckled softly.
Alice: Alice placed her forehead against Meredith's and let out a small sigh. "Of course I didn't reject you.. I wouldn't.. I couldn't." Alice didn't think, she just spoke. All the words she said came from the heart. It was what she felt- how she felt. A date sounded like a perfect idea. They hadn't been on a technical date before. Alice never thought they would, not that she hadn't wanted a date, just that she thought Meredith wouldn't want one. But now that she knew Meredith wanted a date, it made Alice happy... happier than before, if that were even possible. The more the brunette thought about the date, the happier she got. "What do you want to do for our first date?" Alice said softly and quietly. She wasn't being quiet intentionally, it was just that the two girls were so close, Alice didn't need to be any louder.
Meredith: Meredith had never been on an official first date. She grew more and more excited as she thought about it. She rolled off of Alice and sat up. She clapped her hands excitedly. "Can we go to Coney Island?" She asked, her voice filled with hope and happiness for the first time in a long timme.
Alice: Alice sat up. Seeing Meredith so happy just filled Alice with complete and utter joy. The blonde's smile could light up a room and make even the saddest person happy. Alice just gazed at Meredith and nodded her head. "Of course, babe.." Alice agreed, not caring what they did. As long as she was with Meredith, they could sit on a dirty subway and eat Taco Bell. Where they went didn't matter nor what they did. The only thing that matter was Alice being able to spend time with the other girl. With a soft smile Alice laid her hand on Meredith's upper thigh. "Anything you want to do is fine with me. When do you want to go?" Alice asked.
Meredith: Meredith grinned, the excitment bubbling up inside of her. "We can go on rides. For lunch or dinner, we can have those cheesy amusment park food. You know corndogs and chili dog and all that fatty food. We can win stuff animals." Meredith felt like she was a kid again with how excited she was becoming.
Alice: Alice sat up a bit more straight. She loved seeing Meredith happy. "Yes. We can do all of that! Especially the food." Alice patted her stomach. "I love the fatty amusement park foods. Mmm." Closing her eyes, Alice leaned her head on Meredith's shoulder and smiled. "we'll have the best date ever, okay? That's a promise." Alice stated, a smile never leaving her face.
Meredith: Meredith clapped happily. "I don't eat it often. It's too hard to work off but I love it." She explained. Meredith wrapped an arm around Alice's waist and giggled softly. "I dont have anything to compare it to but it'll be the best." She laughed.
Alice: Alice shrugged slightly, loving the feeling of being so close to Meredith. It was something she always held onto. When Alice was alone in her own bed this was what she always thought about. With a lighthearted laugh, Alice ran her hand over the smooth skin of Meredith's upper thigh. "I don't really have much to compare it to, either." Alice admitted. "I mean, I have my date in middle school when the guy took me out to get ice cream. And he ended up sobbing over the fact that I had said yes and it was really awkward." Alice chuckled at the memory. "And plus, it'll be with you, so it will be amazing." she added in a soft voice.
Meredith: Meredith laughed softly, shivering underneath Alice's touch. "I never went on dates. I went to parties and clubs but never dates." She shrugged. She couldn't explain the excitment that was bubbled up inside of her at this new development in her and Alice's relationship. She smiled as she looked over at Alice. She leaned closer and connected their lips in a small kiss.
Alice: Their lips were reunited in another kiss. Alice brought her hand up to Meredith's cheek. Every kiss they shared made Alice feel happy, ever time they touched it was like a rush of energy shot through Alice's whole body. The brunette repositioned herself on the bed so she was facing Meredith. Alice deepened the kiss, with one hand on her cheek the other hand rested on Meredith's thigh. She gently moved her hand over Meredith's soft skin. Each second passing, the kiss grew more and more passionate and it sent Alice's body tingling. This was a feeling Alice loved and only had experienced with Meredith. It was more than just sex.
Alice checked out of the hospital and went home with her mom. Her mom was a bit upset with her for doing what she did. But Alice just told her everything and how she had been overly upset after what her ex girlfriend had said. Now the broadway star was a bit less upset with her and said she would talk to her dad about everything. Alice wasn't allowed to go anywhere for a couple days, especially after just being in the hospital. Alice's mom wanted her to stay home and if someone wanted to hang out with her they would have to come to the van der Bilt's home. And that's what Alice was having Meredith do. Some might find it a bit fucked up that Alice was still so close with Meredith even after cheating on her ex with Meredith. But she couldn't help it. Her and Meredith just got along so well. Alice sent Meredith a text saying that she was home. Alice sat up in her room, on her bed and waited for the older blonde to come over.
Alice decided to get ready to go to Meredith's house. They had had this planned for a few days now and Alice was actually pretty excited. Meredith was older than her and it made Alice feel older and more mature to even get attention from someone as older and hot as Meredith. Alice took a shower, dried her hair, did her makeup casually and through on a mini skirt and a tank top. She decided to leave her hair with her natural thick waves before she left in her car and headed to the Baizen's house. Once she was there she checked herself in her mirror one last time before walking up to the door and giving it three knocks.
They'd arrived at the reception, and Kim headed in first to make sure everything was ready. She grinned and opened the doors to let everybody in, and smiled as the hall quickly filled up with people. She found Noah in no time, and she'd saved him a seat on her table when they were mapping up the seating order. They sat together for a while, before she got up. It was time for her wedding gift - she didn't know what to give them, so she was going to give them that. Kim took a deep breath. She practiced, she sounded a lot better now, she learned all the lyrics. It was going to go well.
She got up on stage and took the microphone from the singer, and nodded once at him - they'd practiced a while back. "Everyone, please be seated and clear the dance floor, it's time for the bride and groom's first dance." Kim said with a smile as her eyes found her uncle and Meredith. "This is my gift to you. Until I think of something better." She laughed a little before she set up the microphone on the stand, before lowering it a little, then she looked back at the band as the light dimmed and the fairy lights came on, the dance floor coming to lighten up as well. The music start, and Kim waited for her cue, before she started, "Heart - beats fast, colors and promises..."

Kim was sleeping on the ground - they'd managed to get all the covers and pillows from the all the rooms and sleep in the living room. At least, they'd gotten Meredith to her bed first. She groaned a little as she sat up, glancing around. "Oh man." She mumbled as she pushed herself up and untangled herself from the covers, rubbing her eyes carefully. She glanced around, all the balloons were popped and scattered, toiled paper was all over the place. "Wow." She muttered as she got up onto her feet hesitantly, and walked over to Allie, who was sleeping on the couch, and nudged her shoulder gently, "Allie. Allie wake up. It's..." She glanced up at the clock, "8 am. Come on, we have to get Meredith into the bath." She muttered before she went around to wake up Lexie and Cristina.
She had a bag of change in her car, so she managed to get that and shower quickly, before she got into sweat pants and a tank top, pulling her hair up in the towel to let it dry then heading down to the kitchen to start making breakfast for everyone, nothing too much, just mostly coffee and toast and anything to spread, should it be jam or cheese or whatever.
