i wanted to keep him red but idk if i should change anything (also i tried looking for anything door related but they all either didnt match, were off sale, or didnt work at all) ALSO ONE LAST THING IF I DO HARL ONE ITS MOST LIKELY GONNA BE A JESTER 🥹✌️ idk why i think it fits him 🥹🥹❤️‍🩹

LCA au where Tippy Dorman gets possessed by the door of doors

SPITTING WHAT I HAVE FOR THIS AU SO FAR IF ANYONE WANTS TO ADD ANYTHING TO IT LEMME KNOW

SO the au starts while Tippy and Harl make their way back down to Earth with the door of doors. (everything up to this point is the same as the series) The entire trip back, Harl and Tippy have been hearing weird noises, but both decided they were hearing things. Things change though when Harl goes to detach the door from the ship. The closer he got, the louder the noises got. Whispers beckoning hum to open the door. Thankfully, Harl resisted, but was unable to detach the door. The rest of the journey continues as normal, Tippy is flung into the back of the ship, Harl guesses the code, blablabla. This time, Harl steers the ship up and away from the city, and crashes it on the outskirts. Thankfully, no one is hurt, but Harl is knocked out for a bit, allowing Tippy to get out of the ship. Tippy starts walking to the door, and starts hearing the same noises Harl was hearing, but the temptation was too strong, and he opened the Door of Doors. Physically, nothing happened, as the Door of Doors didn't leave to Paradoors. However, Tippy had sealed his fate without even knowing it.

Life goes on as normal, and Tippy feels fine. He doesnt feel sick or wrong, but a couple months after the whole Paradoors thing, things start getting weird. At first, he was just sleep walking and getting weird dreams of the Door of Doors, but as time went on, things got worse. The sleep walking turned into him randomly waking up at 2 in the morning, in uniform, at his post. Or he would wake up mid shift while perfectly opening doors for people. Not only that, but whenever this happened, the people around him noticed he was awfully quiet, and struggled to keep balance. His dreams of the Door of Door turned into full on nightmares. He began having memory issues as well, as people would bring up conversations they supposedly had with him and he would have no memory what so ever. Like every person would, he scheduled an emergency visit to his doctor, and waited until his appointment. Then it happened. One day he woke up to go to work, but couldnt move despite being awake. At first he assumed sleep paralysis, until he watched in horror as his body moved without him for a solid bit. He watched himself get dressed, make breakfast, and walk halfway to the elevator before he got control of his body again. He was in absolute shock and fear, he didnt even know what to do for a moment before deciding to go back to his apartment and call the hospital.

That was the last time anyone heard of him before he disappeared. By the time an ambulance came, his apartment door was wide open, with what looked like a struggle occurred inside. The hotel security footage showed not long after his call, he just left. Obviously the entire city was shocked and spooked by this; with Harl feeling mortified, wondering if the voices he heard by the Door of Doors was related to Tippy's disappearance.

Two months go by, and detectives Rooky and Grizzled have exhausted all energy in finding Tippy. It was almost as if he just walked off the face of the Earth, and the only outstanding evidence was that phone call, Harl's testimony, and testimonies from people noticing him acting odd in the days leading up to his disappearance. The case is left close.

Three months. Three months since anyone has heard of Tippy. It's a chilly and dark night, and someone on the outskirts of town reported seeing a person lurking around their house. At the moment Duke is stopping a robbery, Rooky and Grizzled are in the middle of a different case, and Wheelie is working on paperwork, leaving pretty much everyone busy except Allen. Despite his worries, Allen isn't forced to check the wooded area where the person was spotted. After searching for a bit, Allen heard voices beckoning him further away from the city and more into isolation. He hesitantly follows until to his horror and shock he sees Tippy. After some back and forth though, it becomes very clear that despite looking and sounding exactly like him, that the person or thing Allen is talking to is not Tippy.

sorry this is really long this is just a rough timeline of it, anyways i plan to somehow incorporate Gracie Goodheart in here (cause i love her) and i have four possible outcomes for Tippy:

1: He dies (rip bozo)

2: He lives but forgets everything that happened while possessed

3: He lives but remembers everything and is deeply scared by it

4: Nobody saves him in time so he remains possessed, allowing the Door of Doors to force everyone under its rule

either way options 2 and 3 both depend on id the Door of Doors is destroyed or not, cause thats the only way in this AU that Tippy would survive the possession
