My favorite character of each of the 8 main Yugioh series
So lil explanations for each
DM: Seto Kaiba. He's just really funny, and was the first Yugioh character whose story I got truly invested in. So he deserves props for that.
GX: Judai Yuki. Best character development in the entire franchise. His story means a lot to me personally and he's just really fun to watch.
5Ds: Paradox. I don't have much of a good reason for this. Bonds Beyond Time was my first positive exposure to 5Ds and I just really latched onto this sassy tragic guy and still love him to this day.
Zexal: Kotori Mizuki. I'll admit I only latched onto her at first because of her hilariously bloodthirsty depiction in Duel Links. But honestly looking back on it, she was bloodthirsty in the show too. Duel Links just finally made me take notice.
Arc V: Serena. I think out of all the Academia kids, Serena's arc was the best. Her realization/growth was more gradual and natural, and her headstrong personality is both fun and consistently written.
VRAINS: Aoi Zaizen. Fun character with duels I actually enjoyed watching and a character arc that deserved way more focus than it got.
Sevens: Yuga Ohdo. Latched onto him initially due to my own joke about him being my son, stayed attached to him due to how unique and fun of a protagonist he is.
Go Rush: Kuaidul Velgear. Do I even need to explain? I mean. Just look at my blog name. If I went into all the ways this character changed my life for the better and how much he means to me as a result I'd be here all day.
