so i just read Vrisky business and holy fuck, i knew it would have some serious stuff in it but i thought it would like, silly dark, past the first couple pages that was just dark dark, she was trying to just shove a robotic arm onto her stump thats just sad, also the fact that she feels she has to dance around the topic might seem comedic but i think it speaks volumes about how fucked up her social life is that she cant comprehend the idea of just asking someone for help

oh man Vrisky Business fucked me all the way up

the way she was just so transparently trying to attach herself to equius just because he was the nearest person who didn’t want to murder her just so she could stop feeling alone. like. goddamn I’ve been there too vrisk

what happened in the rest of Vrisky Business???

many of my personal headcanons about Vriska were confirmed. also, Vriska’s bitter resentment towards Terezi afterwards (even after they’d supposedly reconciled) makes more sense – at one point she explains to Equius that even blind, Terezi is never in danger in her lil forest home. (Which, from what we’ve seen, is true; she’s protected from the sun, her lusus is a benevolent caretaker from afar, and there really don’t seem to be any predators around.) Vriska’s main point of contention seemed to be that even blind, Terezi has an incredibly easy life. Vriska, now without a limb and eye, is about 88% more likely to die before adulthood. I mean there was a lot more stuff in the comic but that was one of the things that really stood out to me.

hey about the paradox space book like do you know which stories are in the 2nd one? bc i thought all of them were in the first book but then they made another one w the exclusive story by hussie and i was like??? wait is it just like repeats w bonuses or did the first one not have all of them. and if so like where does the second book begin...

u know the one with all the bonus content?? YEA. I know the fandom has kind of been winding down since Act 7, and the end of the comic left a weird taste in everybody's mouth. As a result, I'm kind of worried the community is really losing its hype & love.

So! If you have the funds & want to give a little love to the whatpumpkin team, i'd suggest hopping over there and preordering! And idk if people start talking about this I might do a giveaway or something. If nothing else, click over to the paradox space site and give it a little traffic so they know we haven't forgotten them okay?
