She succeeds in most of this, as she is very intelligent and beautiful. The only thing she misses the mark on is cleverness. She tries to be infallible, but in her confidence, she leaves some loose ends and gets furious when her plans fall apart. She’s a robotics engineer, not a strategist. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The Paragon's royalty verse

I just realized I have like zero info on this verse, so here u go!

Lisanna is one of the Dark Elves who, until very recently, were a slave race kept by the Cimmerians after Cimmeria conquered them in ancient times. Angry with the mistreatment and flippant murder of her people, Lisanna led an uprising (albeit a rather small one) that got halfway to victory. Defeated and imprisoned, Lisanna gave one more shot - invoking one of Cimmeria's oldest laws. She challenged king Odin to a duel, because only the strongest can rule the country.

Lisanna won, and became the first Dark elf ruler of the land. Very quickly, she changed things. First, the name of the country was changed to honor her people, from Cimmeria to Swartelm. She called herself not the queen, but the Paragon of the country, and had Odin's head cast in gold and affixed to the right hand of her throne. She started a spy ring, to keep tabs on everything going on both in her own kingdom and beyond.

What Odin had kept locked away as 'magic treasure', she took and studied, turning the once mysterious artifacts into tools. With a crystal that could store power from the sun, she powered great machines, which eventually would comprise most of her army and serve as police to the population. Regrettably, even after all of the Paragon's work, her people are still very racist, and the mechanical peacekeepers are a valuable unbiased resource.

Memory serves as her royal consort, and holds the title High Lord. They are also a guinea pig of sorts, having several limbs replaced with mechanical ones. There is also a rumor that, since the Paragon's romantic partners always meet an untimely death, Memory is the one behind that. It may or may not be true.

chartreuse: if you had to describe your muse with a color, what color would it be and why?

Memory is definitely yellow. Bright, optimistic, a bit childish, and a lesser version of gold, which describes the goddess Time that they worship.

The Paragon is red. Eye-catching, dramatic, a color of sex and blood, which definitely describes her.

Jack is orange. Sort of a mix of the two descriptions above, because he’s lively and loud, but sex and underlying motives are also a part of his personality.

Mac is probably... navy. Easy-going, kind of sad, but dependable. 

Damian is like, chrome grey. Professional, unemotional, hard.

💔 who would be the worst couple of two of your muses together

Umm.... Probably Jack and the Paragon. They’re both Horny and Ready to Fite 24/7, so they’d be a good pair in that sense, but they’d also both want to be in control - Paragon wanting someone to be subservient and Jack wanting his freedom, so they’d clash majorly there. After the initial attraction, they’d be terrible together.

Jack, definitely. He’s super prone to cabin fever if he has to stay in one place for more than a few days. But it also makes sense with his profession. If you’re playing flute on the same street corner for five years, chances are your revenue is gonna wane.

Mac is, definitely. He exercises regularly and keeps a healthy diet; he’s also borderline vegetarian, only eating meat as like a weekend or special treat thing. Plus, he works as a nurse and is studying for a medical degree - he’s gonna know the technical stuff about keeping healthy, too.

(( Rambling about the Paragon. *shrug*

I think main verse Paragon is a lot harder to rp with than human verse Paragon, because in main verse, her shell is a lot harder to break through. 

She is very much a "feels like she's the worst so she acts like she's the best" sort of person. In the main verse, she can get away with this a lot easier with Memory's powers, and thinks and acts like she's an actual goddess. In human verse, she puts it on as a persona while on the clock as a sex worker. Yeah, the snootiness leaks into her actual personality a bit, but not as much as in main verse. 

In human verse, she has lost her child. She is alone, and therefore more fragile. In main verse, she has Memory, and is drunk on their power. She's been riding this high for years, and is not willing to come down, /especially/ not to actually get close to someone. Not after the Mechanist broke her heart. ))

Since I play Paragon in her human verse more than in her main verse, here’s her human verse backstory:

Lisanna Relarine is from Latvia, and is Roma in heritage. At a young age, she and her parents moved to America where they got a house with a little garden and ran marketplace stalls. Lisanna's first part-time job was in a flower shop. 

Shortly after graduating high school, with a penchant for mechanics, she started the search for a trade school that her parents could afford. When an older man, an inventor named Tristan Hinnder, said he would take her on for an apprenticeship for very little charge, she leapt at the chance. 

The teaching she received was sparse, and they started a relationship unknown to her parents, and Liz became pregnant. She couldn't bring herself to tell her parents, and when she tried to tell Tristan, she found him with another, younger girl.

She ran away from Tristan's home and, too ashamed to go back to her parents, she picked up a life of prostitution, hopping from apartment to apartment. Because of her financial situation and her alcoholism, the baby (Memory) was taken from her and put into foster care. This is the default point at which I play her human verse.

After years of work (and the occasional theft and burglary for extra money), she was able to get her son back. She taught him how to not get caught and used him as an accomplice in her exploits, which were becoming much more frequent. It culminated in a drunk attempt on Tristan's life, in which she was found out by law enforcement and died in a car chase, leaving her 15-year-old child at home.
