doctor who early seasons (nine and rose) are WAY cheesier than I remember

What really stands out to me rewatching the first couple episodes of season 13 (thanks Netflix) is that Alex’s acting is AMAZING. I fully believe that Jack is only three days old. I love that’s he’s always touching something, if he isn’t holding anything he’ll even stroke the nearest wall. My favorite parts are the first time he’s wearing clothes, because he becomes so entranced by his sleeve, and when he’s handed a water bottle and instead of drinking from it he tilts it back and forth to watch the air bubbles. Like!!! That is a baby!!! Learning the mechanics of gravity and other properties of the world!!! At an advanced rate!!!
