Quick tip when designing a double storey home or home on stumps with a subfloor. Design the floor framing to allow for the wet areas to be set down lower then the main floor. This allows for bedding of these areas to get falls to floor wastes and create a flush finish with the floor coverings, eliminating any trip hazards to stub you toe on throughout the home.
