oo we doin full dating headcanons here on this night ? ok here’s what im picturing
his appearance is maybe more than a bit offputting to most humans that roll into town, but those who really know him know that he is a good and caring creature. he’s all fluff under that tuff. he likes to work with his hands and doesn’t believe in waiting around when there’s something that can be done now. a relationship with him is stealing moments between whatever new task he’s set on, but there’s a fantasy you both perhaps hold of a cozy place to settle down when it’s all finally done.
he is a protective partner by nature just as he is in his day to day, and ridiculously domestic to the point of being a little old fashioned. his face doesn’t give much away but the flick of his ears and occasionally his tail is an easy tell.
he practically has to pick you up to kiss you and it’s a little awkward the first few times because of the whole snout situation; he breathes out and its a hot push of air right to the middle of your face. his hands are steady and careful (they have to be to do what he does) but he’s strong and he forgets that strength sometimes. still he is also steadfast and stubborn and willing to try again and again until you both find something that fits.
