Anon is a quiet, hardworking scientist working for a company known as “Paranomalous Labs.” Essentially they are a company that invents tools and gadgets to target anomalies that disrupt and cause annoyances in people’s lives. Anon is well known for creating such gadgets and updating existing ones to make them more efficient.

Unfortunately, Anon is also known to be an anti-socialist that doesn’t seem to know what teamwork is. They don’t communicate with their co-workers nor give them a chance, working alone. This has caused many complaints that reached the manager, Anon’s mother figure. She tried to get Anon to make friends or learn to work in a team but nothing so far has been successful. Anon is stubborn with belief that they can work alone, to become a great scientist.

Anon’s belief only strengthens as they have telekinesis which allows them to work faster, at least when using it on light objects, able to feel the weight of it. The only other thing slowing them down is distressing emotions, which also happens to be tied to their environmental manipulation powers. E.g, when mad the area and anything within it (besides animals & humans) become sharper and jagged. This has led to making an area to be hazardous to work in temporarily.

This has mostly been the result of stress. Recurring nightmares don’t help either. Anon brushes it off as “forgotten childhood trauma.” Despite wanting to investigate to try to find forgotten memories before working at the labs at age 14, Anon prioritise work over anything else. This is why Anon needs to learn to accept help which is where Ruth and Liam come in.

New OC because I’m ditching the previous idea I had about phobias and stuff, going for something different, something that may or may not be inspired by scp lol.

Anon is a quiet and introverted type, preferring to be alone and only speaking in short sentences most of the time. They’re also independent, just too independent, refusing to ask for help, believing they can do everything on their own. This has caused problems relating to their job, lacking the ability to work in a team as they typically end up doing all the work without giving them a chance or even communicating with them. 

Speaking of their job, here’s a quick explanation of what it's about. Anon works as a paranomalous scientist (a scientist that studies anomalies and anything paranormal) for a company called Paranomalous Labs. Essentially it's a corporation that studies anomalies that have appeared out of “seemingly nowhere” and causing disruption to people’s lives. They dedicate themselves to inventing tools and other things for people to use against anomalies so that they can live anomaly-free lives. Although if things get too dangerous, they may get personally involved.

Back to Anon, they were pretty much raised by the company, well, mostly by one of the managers but save that for another time. Despite growing up there, strangely they remember little to nothing about their childhood. They do have blurry nightmares that seem to take place in Anon’s younger years but Anon kinda just shrugs it off as “forgotten trauma that is best to be forgotten.” This doesn’t stop that little ounce of curiosity however as it may lead to answers to who they are and where they came from. 

Moving onto their powers, I’ll try make this short as this is getting long. They have telekinesis which is self-explanatory but they also have environmental powers, “manipulating” the environment around them. However, it's uncontrollable as it's based on emotions. For example, when they’re angry, things will appear more sharp, pointy and jagged, some objects even shaking as if Anon is holding back throwing them which depending on how angry they are, might happen.

Back again with a new oc :)

Name: Damian (don’t have last name yet) Age + bday: 30 (02/11/2020)  Species: Unknown (Anomaly) Gender + pronouns: Male (He/Him) Powers: Elasticity

Damian is the adopted son of the Biology Head Scientist, he is passionate about his work and inspires to be like his dad one day. He also has the ability to stretch his body like a rubber band, which speaking of rubber, his skin feels exactly like it. He likes to spook Anon with this ability as the two don’t get along well.

He and Anon are mortal enemies, they would often fight and get into trouble. They especially like to fight by showing off, treating work like a competition, and trying to prove to each other that they are better workers. This, which they both don’t want to admit, stems from jealousy.

He is especially jealous of Anon’s inventions, that insecurity that he could never top Anon. It doesn't help that Anon started out younger than him, and was promoted quicker to their current rank which for Damian took way longer. That's why he started acting like a dick towards Anon, causing Anon to be a dick towards him, don't worry though, they’ll sort it out...at some point…

OC - Paranomalous Labs - Logs 1

Just some OC story lore, wanted to get into the whole story so yea

Log #001

Is this thing on? Ahem. This is #*4%&( recording for Log number, 001. Log date: )#/%*/($=.

I’m creating these for the sole purpose of documenting my investigation for project I.A.O. The goal of this project is to find out where these….anomalies originate from. The first anomaly appeared around the beginning of 2023, and not long after that, more came around. Most seem rather harmless, physically anyway, they mostly tend to annoy people using whatever abilities that they have. There are almost 0 clues on where these things came from. They couldn’t have been in hiding if they’ve existed for so long after all they don't seem to fear humans at all. I’ve also looked through old folklore and fairytales to see if there's any hint that SOMEONE has seen them, mainly the animalistic ones but nothing. So if they haven’t existed until now, where the hell did they come from?

I currently have two theories though, one is very unlikely. The first one is that these anomalies came from alternate dimensions. However, there are dimensional type anomalies and they didn't turn up until way later. So unless these dimensional types just weren’t discovered yet then this theory seems to be a flop. Another theory I have is…more of a dumb conspiracy theory. Basically, the government is behind this and is doing some area 51 bullshit. I don’t like this theory very much but the only thing that would debunk this is that when anomalies first appeared, government officials didn’t seem to know what to do. Of course that could be an act so….the theory is possible as much as I hate to admit it.

Now that I think about it, perhaps that…company… has something to do with it…..

No, no…I’m just being biased since Ch%#@3 is one of the founders….she’s always been pretty smart, it really shouldn’t be a surprise that she and her team managed to solve the anomaly problem pretty quickly…right?
