Unconventionally Shopping || Rose and Cadence
For a split second, Cadence actually didn’t like her mother. It was all because of this Winter Formal.
School dances were definitely not her thing. She was in the eleventh grade and she had never stepped foot in one before. People were not her thing. She had no friends to go to a dance with but that didn’t stop her mother from deciding that it was all about to change. Since she had come to Summerset, not even a week ago her mother had been making sure that Cadence was going to have the full high school experience no matter how much she didn’t want it.
Cadence isn’t able to hate her mother even if she was standing in the middle of a store shopping for a dress to wear. The blonde moved a piece of hair behind her ear and concentrated on the task at hand. So far, draped over her arm was a red dress and a gold coloured one. They were both nice. However, Cadence wasn’t sure if they were they toe of dress to wear to a school dance.
Pulling out a cream coloured one from the rack, Cadence looked at it closely and turned around, deciding it was nice. Before Cadence was even able to take two steps, her forehead smacked into someone else’s.
“Ow!” The thin blonde moved her hand to her forehead and looked at the girl in front of her, “I’m so sorry! Are you al- Hey, I think i’ve seen you around before."
