Sorry, Trevor, I was leaning more towards pizza.

What Are You Doing || Callon
Dillon raised his eyebrows and she continued to speak, âWhat are you talking about? I donât âdo drugsââ he said, using air quotes. Sure he had used his occasional weed for when he was stressed, but ever since he had been dating Cadence, he hadnât had any need for it. It was sitting in on of his nightstands in his room. Dillon rolled his eyes slightly, âLook, I may have smoked some pot in the past, but thatâs it. A lot of people smoke you know.â Dillon took a breath before he continued, âI usually only do it when Iâm stressed out, and since Iâve been with you, I havenât.â Dillon began making his way towards the door in an attempt to leave, âIf you had such a problem with it, why are you coming forth with it? Why did you take me to meet your parents?â Dillon looked her directly in the eyes, âI really thought I meant something to you, and if youâre going to end it over something as small as this, then bye.â Dillon opened her door, standing in the doorway waiting for her to say something. When she didnât speak up, he made his eye, closing the door slowly behind him.
Cadence furrowed her eyebrows, âWait⊠what?â She felt stupid. She had so stupidly listened to the person who told her this in the hall way in-between classes. And then when she was sad about it, someone told her that the whole school knew. But, apparently he didnât. Cadence stood up quickly, when Dillon began to make his way towards the door, listening to every word he said, âBecause I wanted to talk about it. And I took you to see my parents because I do love you Dillon. I love you, and I didnât want something like this to get in the way of it. And now I know that you donât do it anymore.â The âI love youâ was real. She really did love Dillon. But, she took it too far. Cadence never said that she actually broke up with him and now that he was standing in her open doorway, hand on the knob and ready to close it, she had no idea what to do. Cadence was panicking and for that reason, she couldnât even say a word.

Dillon raised his eyebrows slightly, âWhat? What are you talking about?â He asked, âI need to change?â He repeated the question back to her, not understanding what she even meant. âCadence,â He said, getting up and walking over to her, âWhat are you saying?â He asked again. He began trying to think of what it was that he âneeded to changeâ but he couldnât seem to think what it was.
âI justâŠâ she took another deep breath, âI canât date someone who does drugs, someone who seems like they donât have a care in the world.â Cadence looked at him again, seeing that he was very confused. It made her feel conflicted. She wanted to lose her resolve with the way his eyes looked at her but she wanted to keep it. âThis canât go on Dillon. I canât do it.â It was bringing her down and she couldnât let that happen anymore. âIt has to stopâŠâ she sighed, and fiddled with her hands, âOr you have to leave."

Dillon looked her straight in the eyes, knowing fully well something was wrong, âCadence, Iâm not dumb. I know something is wrong.â Dillon raised his eyebrows slightly, waiting for her to speak. She continued to stare at him wide-eyed, Dillon doing the same to her. When she finally spoke, Dillon slowly began squinting his eyes, âYeah, your parents are cool, but I donât think your dad liked me very much.â Dillon smirked slightly. âNow stop changing the subject and tell me whatâs wrong.â His mind began to trail off to summer, wondering if she was going to be the bearer of bad new and tell him she couldnât come home with this summer. Dillon focused his attention back to Cadence and listened to her response.Â
Cadence looked over at Dillon, giving a sad smile. She knew something was wrong, something is wrong. It was bothering her for weeks now, and she had to get it off her chest. But, she couldnât figure out how. The blonde lightly laughed, âYeah, I got that vibe as well.â And Cadence sort of couldnât blame her father for that. She was getting a bit sad with Dillon lately. It just kept bothering her. Because of him, she was in the process of  losing a friend. Cadence couldnât find any other reason for it, when ever she mentioned Dillon around him, he never liked it. The girl was too nice for her own good and right now that had to stop. There had to be a decision made, âI canât date you if you arenât willing to change, Dillon.â She looked him straight in the eye to show him that she was serious.

âSo,â he said in between breaths, âWhyâd you want me to come here?â Dillon backed away from her, taking a seat her desk. As much as he wanted to kiss her more, he knew she probably wasnât in the mood for more than what had just happened. Dillon began rocking back, waiting for her to speak. He looked over at her, raising his eyebrows, âEarth to Cadence? Everything alright?â Dillon could tell something was wrong, but he wasnât exactly sure what it was. âWhyâd you tell me to come?â He asked, repeating himself yet again.
âFor a semi,â Cadence talked between kissing him, well not exactly between kisses cause her sentence trailed off. She wanted to have a semi- serious conversation with Dillon. Or a full on serious conversation but semi just sounded better. The blonde shook her hair, still wet from the shower, as her boyfriend pulled away, now wanting to avoid conversation. And do so by any means but she wouldnât get away with it. The blonde still kept thinking, though, about the conversation coming up. She shook her head and widened her eyes, realizing she zoned out, âEverything is fine.â Cadence sat down on her bed, patting the spot next to her for him, âYou never told me if you liked my parents or not.â She decided to just start the conversation off lightly.

Dillon was still chuckling to himself, looking down at the floor. When he heard the door open up, he tried to hide his laughter. He put his hand over his mouth and looked up at the beautiful blonde standing in front of him. âWhy are you sorry? I should be the one apologizing..â Dillon began chewing on his bottom lip as he waited for Cadence to start speaking, but she continued to stare at him with a funny look. After a few seconds of their awkward silence, Dillon moved closer to her, putting his hands on her face, moving in to kiss her. He pushed his way into her room, using his foot to close the door behind him.
Cadence was just a lot flustered when she got into the hallway. Dillon, looking the way he looked didnât help either, like heâd just been laughing. It just made her feel worse about the day. âWell, you did have bad timing.â Cadence gave a small smile, feeling a little bit awkward about what just happened and how Dillon saw⊠what he wasnât supposed to see. It just made her scrunch her eyebrows. She actually did want to talk to Dillon, it may not have been a great entrance, but it could be a good opportunity. As soon as she opened her mouth to say something, Dillon put his mouth on her hers. Not being able to resist, she wrapped her arms around his neck and backed into her room.

âAh heââ Dillon said, trying to turn his head away, but he didnât. He slowly brought his hand up to his eyes, and covered them. âSorry, bad timing.â he said, stepping back into the hallway and slowly closing the door in front of him. He couldnât believe what he had just seen, and was in for it to see more. Dillon bit his lip, and began laughing while shaking his head slightly. He knew Cadence was attractive, but damn, girlfriend was hot.
âOut!â Cadence said, noticing that Dillon wasnât really looking away as fast as he should. She raised her eyebrows beginning to get frustrated with her bra and him at the same time. One wouldnât leave and one wouldnât go on. âFinally!â she said when he closed the door after what seemed like an eternity. Of course, after he leaved, Cadence got her bra done up. As quick as possible, she threw on some very loose and ugly tack pants and her brotherâs hoodie. Taking a deep breath, she walked over to the door and opened it to see Dillon still there, âSorry about that.â she said.

Today had possibly been the longest day of Cadenceâs life with her last math test and she was positive that she failed it. And afterwards, she just needed a shower and to go to bed. Which was all good until Cadence got out and realized that she brought no clothes into the bathroom with her. Loosely, the blonde wrapped a towel around her body, walking into her bedroom and going through her drawers. Her head went up when a knock came at the door, she hoped it would just go away so she said nothing. But, it didnât. Quickly, she threw on some underwear and was doing up her bra. Then, the door to her room opened. Quickly, Cadence turned around and jumped up in surprise at who was standing in her open doorway. She fumbled with the clasp on her bra, looking at him wide eyed.
I canât deal with this.
Thatâs⊠correct me if Iâm wrong, three days from now?
Two if you count the fact that todayâs school day is done.
I canât deal with this.
Isnât Friday the last day of school though?
Yeah.
I canât deal with this.
Oh, that sucks. But at least be glad itâs almost over, right?
Sort of.
I canât deal with this.
Whatâs wrong?
Too much to study.
