Not a SecUnit or a ComfortUnit but a secret third thing: a ParaUnit. I give you my OC

[Continuing a little relating to how ParaUnit prefers or doesn't to be addressed]

I think it would just go with whatever's the path of least resistance to completing its functions.

If it's around SecUnits, and someone addresses the group of bots like 'hey girl, get over here', 'lady, someone needs help', 'I need her over here', ParaUnit knows they're Obviously Talking About It and not the hulking armored bots that are able and willing to snap someone's femur one-handed.

A human bleeding out or going into cardiac arrest is worlds more important to it than saying "Actually I'm not female" and so it doesn't care.

Of course, if a patient is getting overly friendly based on [romantic, etc] preference for women, then its distance adjustment module would kick in and it would remind/ correct them about it actually being sexless.

But it doesn't care. Call it girly, call it a useless f***ing hunk of stupid metal, just hold still while it applies your tourniquet, thanks.
