the end of pardes is crazy. i needed ganga to grab that hatchet from arjun and chop up both of these shitty fathers and her rapist rajiv. like how are they all huggy and affectionate when her dad was LITERALLY about to kill her with a machete and kishorilaal was LITERALLY about to shoot arjun in the head. arjun was like you are an evil rich man with no integrity and they were just like so true king i will now give you the privilege of my benevolence when in truth it is you and that hatchet and your moral righteousness that have all the power in this situation but we can’t let the audience know that this film is first and foremost nationalist propaganda lol
